These are so cheap it is not funny. First is that the locks will not hold the weight of a cake. Mine landed on the floor half way to the car. These are also very short so just a 2 layer 9" round cake can be covered. The only plus side to these is that the lids are transparent so you could see the contents. I returned mine with no problem.

It's what I was looking for, light, simple and durable

It is not as sturdy as I was expecting, but serves its purpose. I would buy again.

Made if thin, bendable plastic that reminds me a rubbermaid take-a-long bowl, its cost $11.34. If you need something that is somewhat sturdy, this is probably not the one. No way I would put a cake in it and try to take it somewhere.

If you have the idea that you're getting a nice cake dish to serve at a fancy dinner, then keep looking.If you want the cheapest thing you can find to carry a desert to a family gathering then just throw it out then this works just fine.It's technically reusable, and I'm reusing mine. But you have to be really careful. It's thin, brittle plastic.If you have the time to go pick one up from a discount store, it'll be cheaper. But if you need a carrier delivered to you, this will do the job.

Just wanted to be able to store cakes and keep them from becoming crunchy overnight. This does a fine job.
