Decent hook mechanism and nice plain appearance. I needed ones that do have the breakaway option and they perhaps break a little too easily under moderate stress but overall they’re ok.

Safety first
I regularly wear a lanyard with ID badge. I was advised to wear a "breakaway" lanyard in some situations where someone might have the wrong idea with an ordinary lanyard worn round the neck. Finally I ordered one and it arrived the next day.

Breakaway clips come apart far too easily
The actual weight of the lanyard & a card holder & cards, while being mobile, is too much for the breakaway clips to handle.Plus, its way too small. Would only be sized for a small child. Could not be used professionally as you'd lose your smartcard/ID cards. Don't waste your money.
