I love the 623 V1 NB shoes.
I have owned at least 7 pairs of these, and they are discontinued. Unless you have a size 4 AAA or size 16-17-18 EE foot, they are pretty much all gone. What do I like? Great comfort on concrete floors, good cushioning and wear. Some of the white leather ones break out first at the small toe of my left foot---- but not the brown suede look ones or the blue ones. Strange but probably the form used for that particular sub model color. Would I buy more? you bet,they are my day-to-day shoe. The present ones I am writing about are the blue ones and they are a little tight on first wear. But I expect they will stretch a bit with more use. If they do not, I'll update this review. But for now, buy the size and width you normally wear, you should be pleased.

Husband really loves these shoes. Very comfortable. He removed the laces and put in bungees for easier on/off and because he's lazy and doesn't tie his shoes so can't speak to the fit with ties but great looking and well made overall.

Looks great, fits great
Looks great, fits great. Hurts like heck to wear, heel is not as soft as expected. My feet are unusual, but my last pair of Skechers feel better than these even worn out.

Poorly made shoes with incorrect sizing.
Like so many other people I found these shoes to be of poor materials and construction. I bought two pairs of 623's in 10.5 4E. They are not 4E width. I compared them to an older pair of 623's and the new version is a half inch or more narrower and not even close to the same quality. This new version will hurt your feet. I would not walk on any wet or slippery surface with them because the soles are cheaply made and have little traction. The old style 622's were better than the 623's and the 609's better than any of them. New Balance used to make good shoes, but not any more. Very disappointed in New Balance.

Great for wide feet
My son loves these, he says they're the most comfortable sneakers he's had. I hope I can get a replacement paair when these wear out.Please, New Balance never stop making extra wide shoes! They look great too.

Tear is getting worse very day
Started to tear in less than 3 months. I had the exact same pair last time and it lasted me 15 months with no issues. Tear is getting worse very day, I can no longer wear these to work without looking extremely unprofessional. (That's not my sock, its some kind of liner)Reached out to NB, they said to talk to Amazon. unfortunately, I'm past the return point on Amazon. Will call NB to see what they say, but I think I'm SOL.Sad, I really liked these.***EDIT*** NB gave me a full refund. Awesome awesome awesome.

These are great and comfortable shoes
Wide width shoes are not the easiest to find. These are great and comfortable shoes. I would recommend.
