Review: Obsessed with Vanilla Mint! - My vet recommended this toothpaste brand, so I looked it up and decided to go ahead and try the Vanilla Mint flavor. My dogs don’t hate it, which is more than I could ask for 😂 It gets the job done with cleaning their teeth and their breath smells amazing and fresh even after two days of not brushing! Very easy to use, just like your regular human toothpaste. Very happy with this product and will try another flavor next time! Review: Highly effective! Love the way the vanilla mint flavor smells. - I wish I would have take a photo of my dogs teeth before I started using this toothpaste. It has visibly whitened his teeth, and completely resolved his absolutely rotten smelling breath 🤮 My boy is almost 8 yrs old, the vet said he had a bit of inflammation and plaque build up but that it was normal for his age. His breath started smelling absolutely horrific. I couldn’t stand it. So I’ve been brushing his teeth 4-5 times a week for months now and they are whiter, and his breath has virtually no scent at all. I will definitely be brushing my next dogs teeth daily starting day 1. It really does prevent their teeth from rotting out, gum issues, gingivitis, etc. And nothing replaces actual brushing. Water additives, sprays, dental chews etc aren’t all that effective. I pick up their water for 45 mins after using the tooth paste, and then I use a dental spray for the dog only, wait 15 more minutes and then put water back out. I chose this brand due to the fact that it’s been around a long time, it’s been clinically tested and proven to be highly effective, and the fact that they have a mint flavor. I can’t bring myself to brush my dogs teeth with chicken or fish flavored toothpaste. I want his breath to smell good, not like he just ate KFC 😂 the vanilla mint smells really good. I’ve also implemented it with my cat, as they are much more likely to have severe dental issues due to their small, bacteria ridden mouths. I just rub his teeth and gums with my finger for now but will be ordering some textured fabric finger covers for pet dental cleaning. He doesn’t tolerate a toothbrush like my dog does. Lol.

**Q: Why do you put sugar in the toothpaste that is swallowed and not spit out?**
A: The sugar in it is like xylitol but for animals since xylitol is deadly to them. Xylitol is 'sugar'that is good for your teeth(Hence in gums) unlike the sweet sugar. So that sugar in CET is good for pets' teeth. Actually my vet who went to ivyleague vetschool(Upenn) said it is not brushing but the enzymatic toothpaste works so food debris+bacteria doesnt thurn into plaque and tartar. Many docs and common sense I know it is the brushing(for humans brushing and fluoride important). BUT I trust Dr. Hsu, cat liver 11cat owner in Hawaii, graduate of UPenn ivy league vet school. I asked that she eats a lot and i brish 3 times a day with 2-3qtip(4-6tips). He said if poop is fine and she likes it , nothing to worry (but maybe I do give too much). And i asked what if she has stomachache but that she cant speak and she just decide to eat it? He said we humans eat spicy food and get stomachache but it isnt deadly. So I may try to use Nolvadent(the one all pets hate) one time in lieu. But then who knows maybe nolvadent also bad?? But TBH, nothing is worse than having toothpain in life!!!

A: The back of the tube says imported from Canada? I was checking as a previous tube I bought from another company says made in China.. so I'm double checking before purchasing something else.

My vet recommended this toothpaste brand, so I looked it up and decided to go ahead and try the Vanilla Mint flavor. My dogs don’t hate it, which is more than I could ask for 😂 It gets the job done with cleaning their teeth and their breath smells amazing and fresh even after two days of not brushing! Very easy to use, just like your regular human toothpaste. Very happy with this product and will try another flavor next time! Cannot vouch for durability as I only received this a couple days ago, but I think this will probably last me a while. 10/10 would recommend!

Great product, dogs breathe was horrid. This seemed to calm the smell down. After several times using it. Her breath is normal again. Use daily or at least a few times a week for best results. Dog loved the taste. I use on my cattle dog and Shih Tzu.
