Must Read!
I always enjoy Jacqueline Wilson's books but this would have to be one of my favourites! I really like how there aren't recall chapters but it switches from one person to another showing what's happening to each, there wasn't really anything I disliked about this book the only thing was some parts dragged on a bit but that's all really. I would recommended this book for girls from the age of 10 and up this is because the book was set on a girls perspective and not really a boys and because the girls in the book we 10 years old. I rate this book 5/5 because I really liked it and couldn't stop reading it!

A great read for any age.
I quite accidentally came across this gem of a book. Whilst it is written for children, it provides an insight from children's perspectives into real issues such as separation, divorce, abandonment, abuse, poverty and unequal power dynamics in relationships. I highly recommend you read this book at any age.

Awesome
It was really good, but really, really short. I wish that the ending was not the ending. Because the ending was lame.

Horrible
I personally did not like this book. It would never happen in real life. I detested Destiny and her mother. Sunset was annoying sometimes.*Spoiler*The scene were Sunset yells at the kids on the swings would not happen as quickly as it did. She said 'Bog off' and the kids let her have the swing! That would NEVER happen that quickly. VERY disappointed. If I could give 0 stars I would

Fantabulous Book!
This is a great book about Destiny and her Mum who are an ordinary family. Destiny's Mum tells Destiny that her dad is Danny Kilman a super famous rockstar. Destiny's Mum has always wanted Destiny to meet her dad. When it's Destiny birthday Mum buys 2 tickets to a Danny Kilman concert. They see the whole family at the red carpet. Destiny really wants to speak to her half sister Sunset and says a few words to her. Destiny and her Mum go to Robin Hill where Danny lives and camp out all night. In the morning Sunset sees Destiny and asks her what is she doing here. Destiny explains that she's her half sister. Sunset sends Destiny a letter inclosing her leather jacket which Destiny adored. Will Anybody believe Destiny and her mum that Danny's her dad and will there family unite? Read this book to find out.

Amazing book
I loved this book it was full of hope and at the same time not full of hope, this is what made it a page turner.I loved Destiny she was an amazing singer, and loved her mum a lot but could never quiet believe her on everything she said.Sunset is an awesome character she came from a family of riches and never seemed to like her mum like Destiny did.Shes was'nt loved like the other two (Sweetie and Ace her brother and sister).*SPOILER ALERT*This is what gave it a plot twist, Sunset and Destiny had the same dad.Sunsets dad was a stubborn person who would'nt believe a word Sunset said. He is a famous singer who likes other girls, which his wife (Sunset's mum) hates. There are a lot of words to describe Sunsets mum arrogant, spitful, rude to everyone ect.Sweetie, (Sunset's sister) was one of the characters i hated most she was spoiled and wanted more and more, she was always crying and being so annoying I could feel Sunset's pain.Ace was annoying to he was Sunset's younger brother he was really young and loved his tiger costume but he was annoying to still sweet in allDestiny's mum: She was an amazing mum she worked a lot and could'nt spend a lot of time with Destiny, but she quiet liked Sunset's dad, but not love she loved him when they were younger which was a problem.Still brilliant book can't think of any fault

Nice!
This book was great! I love jaqueline wilson although in her books the main character is always uglyβ¦It made me realize what being famous is really like,I used to think it would be amazing,My parents have always told me it isn't nice but I never belived them until now.I felt how sunset felt, With her siblings being treated better than her and her mum being so horrible.I loved destinys mum.She was lovely. Please write a sequalby a ten year old

All that glitters is not gold, except in this case
A great read for girls 9 and over, this book deals with the relationship of children and parents - one comes from a poor family; the other from a celebrity family. Both heroines have to make their way into the world and deal with issues pertinent to their age as they form a solid connection and use each other for strength and inspiration. The book was a bit slow to start with but things pick up when Destiny and her mum camp outside Danny's home.I enjoyed reading this book despite its abrupt ending. Soon as my daughter catches up, we'll have lots to talk about! You can't go wrong with Jacqueline Wilson. She understands the human psyche so well that at times you feel you are reading about yourself!
