RaidWindow Fly Traps, 4 Traps

THESE REALLY WORK!
Every spring and fall, we end up with either fruit flies or some type of small gnats in the kitchen...never an infestation... just an annoyance. We also have dogs, so every time we let them in or out the door (especially at night), some little bug gets in. I have tried many things to get rid of them (i.e. apple cider vinegar traps, which do work, but seems to take forever). Anyhow, I decided to try these Raid Window Fly Traps. I was amazed at how well these worked, not only for the smaller insects, but flies actually get stuck to them too. They are so easy to use, you just peel of the strip on the back side and place it on your window. They remove just as easy. I would definitely recommend these!

Insect free!
After trying fly ribbons and frustrated with actually having to unravel, then sticking to my hair, I found these online. I love them! No more flies, gnats, moths etc. Anything that comes opening doors in the house sticks. I dont need vinegar or honey or anything to attract the insects. Ours picks up about 20 baby flies that come in through the bathroom sink pipe. I threw clorox in there but they still come. We couldnt see where 15 fat flies where coming from daily that i had to kill with windex, till we got this window trap. I like having an insect free home. The only insects bothering us now are mosquitoes and they get stuck on this trap but we get bit so there have to me more inside. I also garden and the use of fertilizers brings on extra flies to the yard. The only draw back is that if it gets too hot like 100 degrees, the glue gets too soft and flies can jump on and off but by nightime is cooler and morning time, the flies are trapped on it. To let you know the extent of our yard and insects, i have to wear high deet bug repellent just to go out water plants.

It works
This is not a 100% solution but it traps the flies especially the baby flies. I did not press it hard onto the glass so it was super easy to peal off the window. I think this is why I did not have a problem removing the film as other reviewers have mentioned. I am going to purchase more to have on hand. I have lived in my home for years and never experienced a fly invasion until this year.

Bye bye, gnats!
I live in a humid climate and for whatever reason, my apartment tends to be a magnet for annoying little gnats during the summertime that like to drive me crazy. I don't really like using bug spray because I dislike the smell and am concerned about using chemicals in certain areas of my apartment such as my bedroom. As an alternative to using bug spray, I decided to give this a try. It has helped tremendously with the gnats as a more long-term solution to reducing their presence, though the occasional straggler does make an appearance. I have placed them on nearly all of our windows and each sheet always has a lot of gnats to show for it. I haven't needed to replace them often which is helpful as well. For what the product is, it works very well.

Great product for catching flys that made it into the house
Works great, but hard to remove without getting some of the sticky on your fingers. Over time, they sticky does not get the flys, and of course as if fills up, it's less pretty to see.My only issue is trying to be careful when removing it...even with a paper towel, removing it will typically result in getting a spec or more of the sticky on a finger.Basically, a thin sheet of plastic stuck on window, one side very sticky. the side that does stick to the window (small strip on top edge), does come away cleanly, so nothing stays on the window, which is really nice.Fly stick to this really well. We get maybe a fly a day that comes in through the doors when being used, so nice to have them get trapped, than fly around the house.

The first time I purchased these they were great, so I bought them again a month later
The first time I purchased these they were great, so I bought them again a month later. This second batch did not work at all. I thought there was not enough sticky on them to catch a fly. The flies just walked over them. Once in while their foot got a bit stuck but they just tugged it off. I thought this must be an old batch. I was really disappointed because I get bombarded with cluster flies every year and I thought I finally found a solution. I was very disappointed so I wrote a bad review. I put them on the windows anyway. Seems like as soon as the window warmed up a bit. They started working. They were just too cool when I first put them on. I'm sorry about the first bad review. I had to revise it. They work wonderfully when they are warmed up enough.

Disgustingly Beautiful, a.k.a. It works.
It does what it needs to do. Catches all the fruit flies that infiltrated my apartment. I had some serious fruit fly problem at one point, and bought this. Seeing the double digit kill count of fruit flies on this trap is very disgusting looking but simultaneously satisfying. Can only describe it as glorious.

Most Effective way to use this Trap with Apple Cider Vinegar Lure/Trap
These sticky tapes work very well. When flies land on them they are stuck. However, just by themselves would not attract the fruit flies. You need a lure such as apple cider vinegar. The apple cider vinegar is both used as a lure and a trap when dish detergent is added. Here's how to make the apple cider vinegar lure/trap. In a container, put about 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar. Add 3 to 4 drops of dish detergent.Place the apple cider vinegar near the Raid Fly Trap. The smell of the vinegar will attract the fruit flies and some will get stuck on the Raid Fly Trap. The apple cider vinegar (with dish detergent) will also trap the fruit flies. The dish detergent helps to reduce surface tension so that the flies can sink into the apple cider vinegar. This is an effective method of getting rid of fruit flies.
