Q: The video example shows that all the thief would need to do to take this off is use a small screwdriver and reset the password?

Cannot be got at whilst locked on steering wheel

Q: Could a thieve just reset the password with a screw driver while on wheel?

Have just checked mine and you can only reset the code when you have your chosen code displayed. Once you have scrambled the numbers the code cannot be changed. Also if the unit is on the wheel it would be almost impossible to access the screw and code set switch.
