Fingers crossed!
I really really really want to have this product in our house! So far, a negative is that getting it in a kid’s eye makes subsequent bath times STRESSFUL.Another is that I’m having to add hair products in my hair (- leave in conditioner spray or cream) and I didn’t have to do that with shampoo.I think having argan oil or similar might be helpful. I know I can buy a conditioner bar, too, but this company doesn’t sell one, and peppermint shampoo seems like a bad/odd mix with the bar conditioner scents I have seen elsewhere! Plus those don’t always say palm free! For reference, i have 1B/2A mostly straight, very thick dark hair. Tiny wave if air dry. I sweat a lot in workout and this gets sweat totally out!

The smell gave me a headache
Disclaimer: I did not actually use this product. I opened the metal box, which was not sealed, and the smell of coconut was very strong and immediately gave me a headache. I decided right away to return it.

Great shampoo...but
I love the shampoo, but I didn't realize that it came in a metal container. With trying to limit my carbon data the packaging is a downfall.

Allergy Friendly!!
This is the best shampoo! I have a tree nut allergy and was unable to find a company that didn't use any, until I found Peet Bros. Not only is it soothing to my scalp, but it leaves it nice and shiny. I have found that it is necessary for me to use conditioner with the shampoo bar because my hair gets tangled easily. Definitely would highly recommend!

I prefer textured shampoo bars, but it's still great
I like this shampoo bar, although it doesn't do anything amazing to my hair. That's okay sometimes, though. The fact that it comes with a tin is great! I keep the shampoo bar I'm using at the time on a dedicated soap dish, but often they just come in cardboard boxes, so it's hard to know where to store a bar. People who travel might appreciate something that's a bit more practical than a cardboard box. This isn't my favorite shampoo bar out there for a couple reasons, but I've still given it five stars because I like some other things about it, including the tin. But I'll explain those two things (which may be no issue to others). One is that shampoo bars often have textured bits ("noodles") in them. I like the noodles, because they make the bar have more texture. I feel like bars with them have more grip, and they might even help provide some resistance so I can get a better lather against my hair. This bar doesn't have noodles, but I still get a good lather with it, so maybe it's just personal preference. The other thing I've noticed with lots of shampoo bars is that even if they have a strong scent, the scent usually doesn't transfer too strongly onto my hair. I like that. Others might prefer that the scent transfers. This is a rare bar where I feel the fragrance truly transfers quite a bit. I feel like the scent is a bit masculine, or gender neutral. It's not a powdery or unpleasant scent, but is a bit stronger than I'd like. That being said, I still really like the bar.
