These are my preferred crimp on battery cable ends unless I find something I like better. I prefer these to the normal lead cable ends you get from most anywhere that use 2 bolts to crush the cable to the cable end. I bought a large cable crimper because I am tired of the cheap thin gauge cables you get premade so I can now make my own battery cables.

these are surprisingly good quality automotive battery terminals. Good for 4-5 gauge wire. For bigger gauge you may want to a brand with longer open barrel legs such as Del City brand. Works well with IWISS 8200 crimper tools which you can also purchase here on Amazon for a good price.

These battery terminals are a direct match and replacement for the terminals on my 1997 Ford Ranger XLT.Pros:- The metal appears to be a bit thicker than the OEM terminal.- Comes with two terminals that are two different sizes: A larger one for the positive terminal and a smaller one for the negative terminal.- Can hold and crimp down on a total wire volume of about #1 AWG.I used the  IWISS IWS-5100A Battery Lugs and Open Barrel Connectors Crimping Tool  and it worked very nicely.

These are quite sturdy terminals, that are the same design as the OEMs found on my 1992 Nissan Sentra. That said they are a pain to install, because they need to be crimped. I suggest that leave the instalation to a professional mechanic
