The perfect companion for the Beta QRv2. Switch from keychain to pocket carry whenever the mood strikes. The best key chain flashlight...just got better! One of the main reasons I wanted to switch over to the Beta QRv2 was so I could do THIS! Ta da! A pocket clip. Boom goes the dynamite. I'm not sure there is a lot to talk about. Did I mention boom goes the dynamite? The clip holds securely but it does rotate. This is going to upset some people, but that's just the way it's got to be. I mean, come on, I made it pocket clip compatible...let's get excited about that part! The Brass caps are machined 100% in-house. The bulk of the machining is done by my Haas ST10-Y lathe, but every part is returned to my 1977 Hardinge HLV-H manual lathe for finish machining on the cap-end to clean up the nub left by parting the cap from the bar stock (below). This also ensures perfect tail standing!

Good clip
This is a great addition to my Copper QRv2 and UV version.However, it's a pain to take this off once installed - not a major issue for my use case as I do not take it off ever.

Great little light
Great little light, especially with the clip. On my second one (lost the first), its my daily carry in my pocket. First one went through the washer three times when I forgot to take it out of my pocket, and still worked just fine. I find the high CRI led suits me, and the light itself is a nice balance of flood and spot. The ergonomics are well done.

It’ll never come off on its own and makes the light sooo much better. One day I reached for my light and found the light in my pocket and no clip. It had caught something that day and popped off. My fault though.

Easy solution to convert the Prometheus QRv2 into an EDC light.
I bought this to go along with my Prometheus Nickel QRv2 keychain light. It pops right in where the keyring would go. It's never coming off by itself. I used a bit of string to pull it off. Turns my keychain QRv2 onto a pocket EDC flashlight. Brilliant.
