I was hesitant to buy this for my boyfriend’s birthday because it was quite expensive for me (I was broke at the time lol). Well, I bought it back in February and I’m proud to say he’s used it every single day since, without fail, and he LOVES it. I would recommend this product to anyone I know. His skills have improved exponentially and he runs through drills all the time. He wants to get into competition shooting eventually and this is the best way to practice. PLEASE don’t hesitate, just buy the thing! It makes training more fun than it already is. I’d give it ten stars if I could.

I originally bought a different laser strike system and man it was literal garbage, biggest headache ever. So I decided to give the laser training another try with a different system and went with this one and I gotta say it's like night and day. This is by far the better system and is well worth the money. The product is high quality and the app is incredible. I definitely recommend this system over any others. The tutorials and different drills it takes you through are really incredible. Being newer to guns I can't imagine a better system than this, it even has a 'die hard drill where you are supposed to tape the gun to your back and put your hands behind your head and draw, seriously awesome, though I'm not flexible enough to do that, but it's still really cool. The only negative thing I have to say is that there are quite a few drills that you have to buy the extra targets for. I got free pro access to be able to access all the drills but the app won't let me do them because I don't have the correct target for the drill, I'm going to order them but I wish they would've come with the system. Still though it'd way worth the cost.

The media could not be loaded.  The Mantis X system seems like a great way to sharpen shooting skills while avoiding having to drive to a range, paying range fees and the expense of ammo. However, using the Mantis X system is poorly documented. I thought the directions in the app would be fine and they seem great but I couldn't figure out how to lock the tripod so it didn't collapse under the weight of the phone. The biggest issue is that the laser cartridge didn't work. I tried pushing the laser shell as well as cycling in the chamber of my Glock 21. Nothing worked. I tried taking the batteries out and putting them back in with no laser produced. I will try ordering fresh batteries and may update my review if the system works after that.Update 8/11/24I purchased replacement batteries for the laser unit and the system worked well. I put the supplied tripod back in the box and used the tripod that I use for photography and the system worked much better. I am changing my rating from 1 star to 4 stars based on a friendly communication from Mantis X and my replacement of the batteries and tripod.

This product is an excellent tool for training. I personally can vouch improved firing, improved accuracy and it's easy to use! Five stars!
