I love these speakers, the sound is so clear,they have the bass that I like, they are the best!!!

These speakers are easy to hook up. You will need a preamp for most racordplayers. Drawbacks are that they do not have a remote function and the bass is a little weak for my taste. The sound is clear and plenty loud with minimal distortion.

I am very impressed with quality sound of these speakers. It was also nice to be able to find them in white to match my son's PC. I highly recommend these!!! I had a group of young adults over for my son's birthday, we all went to his bedroom to try out these new speakers I'd gifted him and then no one cared to leave his room because we were enjoying the quality sound of the speakers so much! So the rest of the evening was spent hanging out in his bedroom.

I went down the rabbit hole of near-field speakers. That got me on a path of looking at studio monitors. Wrong.What I did not understand is that studio monitors are meant to create a very flat listening experience that is geared toward work. Studio engineers need to hear the sound in it's most true form so that they can do whatever magic they do as part of their production process. Studio monitors are not meant for casual listening and these speakers are clearly evident of their nature.There is nothing inherently wrong with them, but they are not enjoyable. They can reproduce the sound in a clear, loud and true fashion, but most people don't want that as their listening experience as it's not something one would seek out for entertainment.I had them connected to a FiiO R2R K11 DAC so I'm confident that they were getting the best input signal that I could provide. I tinkered with Pipewire's Easy Effects GEQ to try and tune the sound to my liking. It got a little better, but never enjoyable. I could have kept tweaking, but you shouldn't have to fight with your speakers to try and make them sound like something they are not.They have good clarity and sufficient low frequency response, but that's it. I don't speak audio-dork so I cannot talk about soundstaging, spatialty, and other things that most people probably say a lot but don't actually understand. That's fine, I don't need to earn some sort of achievement badge for being overly fussy about sound. Bass is surprisingly lacking at lower volumes. They'll make some serious sound if you crank them, but I don't do that but occasionally.I wanted some desktop speakers that are better than most of the cheap junk that you find being marketed as 2.1 systems for computers. These are not it. I'm sure if you're actually doing production work or audio engineering, these are probably pretty good. For the casual listener, you will be whelmed.Also, and this is just nitpicking at this point, I didn't like how they looked. They are really big, take up a lot of space and don't make a lot of sound for the real estate that they occupy. They look like something a child would own. I don't normally care about looks when it comes to speakers, but these started to become a cheap-looking eyesore after a week.
