Easy for hot pot! Not so easy to clean. Heats up slow but it works

Edit many months later.I almost forgot about my glowing initial review and most certainly forgot about the grill... haven't used it in a long time.Turned out not only was cleaning this thing insanely time consuming process but its heating was very uneven.So by the time the food around the edges got done, whatever was in the middle got burned.Too bad, it sounded so promising at first.********(My original review)Being that I am currently getting rid of 'stuff', eg. certainly not looking to get more of it, I had this baby sitting in my cart for many months... just thinking I do not need this so why get another 'thing' into the house.(Have an outdoor grill that just sits in the garage and toaster owen with a 'grill' function).Then a friend mentioned something about getting an electric grill and being so happy with it.So I thought, what the heck, I'll go for it.Omg, this thing is so fantabulous!I have always loved grilled meat and veggies from restaurants, never quite able to reproduce it at home even in my grill-function oven.Everything coming from this tastes truly delectably charred - fish, chicken, steak, any veggies, on and on...Highly recommended! 👍🏼😍

We like this because you can really use it anywhere, and the cover keeps your counters clean. We have noticed that it doesn't heat evenly, but that's not a deal breaker though.

When my electric skillet gave out, I decided to replace it and in the process get rid of pots and pans that I was no longer using on a regular basis. I stumbled on this and after reading positive reviews and watching YouTube videos I decided to give it a try. This is absolutely hands down the best investment I have made. The temperature gauge actually works. It is deep enough to make roasts and soups in. Sometimes I wish that the bottom was flat, without the ridges because it gets a little tricky maneuvering some foods with them but I have to admit the ridges have helped to keep food from sticking and burning. Love this so much I purchased the smaller round version as well. They both out perform anything I have ever had in my kitchen.
