The media could not be loaded.  I am a GM technician and I needed a longer cord for my MDI-2. This was an experiment that went right. The extender works great even programming. I have had it a month or so and use it several times and day. I also bought another one for my Snap-on scanner. I highly recommend these cables if you want good quality and excellent usability. UPDATE: several months later and these cables are still going strong. They work great!

I needed a long extension cord(?) and I bought this. I've had no problem hooking up the reader and the cord seems pretty durable. The reader is on the cheaper side, so I don't know if that could make a difference?

This is a must have if you want any freedom of moving around while scanning your car. This 5' extension is same quality as the original cable from my Foxwell, and attaches securely on both ends without annoying me. Good value.

a very good answer to many issues with the 1996 to current obd2 dlc. for instance i use this with an otc 16 pin dlc breakout box,this prodiag obd2 extender cable enables me to have the breakout box outside the vehicle under the hood if desired.Of course you can also use with any obd2 scanner that has a short cable.

I bought this extension cord for the launch OBD2 diagnostic tool. The quality is good and the product works very well.

It looks durable but it fits too tight in the port

Worked as advertised. Have used it for bi-direction communications including flashing.

The cable is a bit thick and stiff. Would be better if it had a right angle plug, so it's less intrusive into the shin area, but otherwise it works great.
