This is the basic model, no suspension or indicators. The AOVO is reputed to be a clone of the Xiaomi, at a much lower price. There appears to be more than one AOVO on the market, all claiming to be the original "real" AOVO! The manufacturer and supplier of this version have certificates on their websites claiming authenticity. The scooter arrived faster than expected from a UK warehouse, in excellent purpose made packing. The battery was showing fully charged on arrival. The overall quality, fit and finish cannot be faulted, whether or not this is a "real" AOVO or a clone of a clone! There is no reason to believe that the unseen internals will be any different. My daughter has a definite clone of a clone, also from Amazon, badged "WQ" which managed 12 miles on the flat to battery empty. My Aovo yesterday did 12 miles on the same road, using 4 bars of power out of 5 (both tests were at 9mph and in cold weather). I then did another mile at 15 mph and still have 2 bars remaining. It would seem that a big difference between the various Xiaomi clones, is likely to be battery quality. For the moment, this one from Huizhou Peter Technology is first rate. Time will tell and I will add to this review in time as the scooter gets more use. Out of the box, the brake lever was set so that both the electric regen brake and the rear disc brake come on at the same time, making braking somewhat sudden. I'd suggest slackening off the brake cable about 5 or 6 mm, so that the regen braking can be used by itself to simply slow down, thus extending battery range, pulling further on the brake in order to come to a complete stop.Edit 3 February. Range test on flat road. 15 miles at 15mph. 75Kg rider, 12 degC. Last half mile flashing red and dropped to 10mph.

We bought this scooter for our grandson after two months the front tyre has gone out of shape and is bump bump vibrating through the handle bars not safe the front tyre is the type with no inner tube air less we complained they wouldn't give money back said they will send new wheel I said no because if I had caused damage they would say we had done it and have no warranty sent the scooter back to them to fit a new tyre it get sent back to us 2 weeks later with a second hand tyre on it and now they will not help the scooter has been 1 problem after another. The tyre , battery not holding charge and the handle bars lose. The customer service is nonsense. Would never buy from them again.

Nice scooter. I’d say it’s a good entry level one.Pros:- Speed is good- nice to handle and easy to handle- fun to ride- app is easy to use and allows fine tuning performance- pretty quality materials- easy to assemble- good value for the priceCons:- the one without suspension is very stiff in bumpy roads- range is not quite 30km as advertised. I’m using in sport mode, so maybe that’s why.- the default settings makes the scooter very slow and sluggish, but you can tune it up via app.- acceleration is quite weak. You can improve in the app but even in max, it’s still a bit sluggish.

I bought this scooter for my 14-year-old daughter. It is easy to ride and it handles well. It is quite heavy as expected for a well-built machine. It has some good safety features, it will not turn on if attached to the charger and the indicators are bright with an audible beeper. The brakes are adequate using a rear drum mechanism as well as front wheel drive engine braking ability. The charger is robust and the charging dock has a silicon rubber bung to keep dirt and moisture out of the scooter battery compartment which is under the foot platform. The solid rubber tyre's (UK English spelling) have enough deformation to absorb shock and grip well in the dry without fear of puncture, also, the front and rear suspension units are adequate for good road surfaces, giving the scooter stability and comfort. The lights are bright enough to be seen but can be turned off if required. All in all, this scooter is exceptional quality at a good price. I may even buy the 500W version for myself!

Leuke step, makkelijk op te bouwen en snel geleverd.Maar het is een andere step als op de afbeelding. Geen schijfremmetje maar trommelrem.Wel vering voor en achter. Opvallend want dat had het bestelde stepje juist niet. Verder leuk ding.
