Nature's Bounty L-Lysine 1000 mg Tablets 60 ea (Pack of 2)

I got these because I get mouth ulcers constantly (I mean 5+ at any given time, and when one round heals another batch always starts, and they are really more miserable than I can describe).One month in and the vitamins have made a noticeable difference. I've had only one ulcer that happened because I bit the inside of my mouth, and it didn't hurt nearly as bad.The other suggestion I had for mouth ulcers was switching up my toothpaste (I'm using the Hello brand instead of whatever I usually grab off the shelf). Apparently SLS in toothpaste might contribute to mouth ulcers.Oh, also, the pills are the largest pills I have ever taken. I got used to them but they are difficult to swallow for the first few days.

This really works, I notice if I am stressed and do not take this I get a cold sore either under my nose or Lips. If I take it everyday I don't get them. Highly recommend

I couldn't take this tablet due to the size. I even tried cutting it in half, but the cut edges would scratch my throat. I usually have no trouble taking pills. I take all my morning meds in one gulp, but this tablet is like nothing I've ever taken. I bought a different brand that comes in a capsule and have no trouble swallowing that one. I wish they made this in a capsule instead.

I take Lysine to prevent Cold Sores/ Fever Blisters.You have to take it everyday but it really prevents breakouts.I’ve been taking it for over 5 years and had maybe 2 or 3 breakouts and I use to breakout at least if not more than 6 times a year. Lysines the real deal.

These are much easier to swalllow than others I have had.
