I have some cervical spine disorder, and at first 2, and then over time, 3 cervical spinal bones have fused together, causing me a chronic neck ache.I bought this here "wig grip" to hold my wig in place, and i was stunned to discover, that coincidentally, my neck ache is gone! Yes, that's right, somehow, this band somehow supports the top of my neck or something? i do not know exactly how, but, my neck ache is gone!That might not happen for anyone else with neck aches but, it happened to me. I did not expect that, as i had read nothing about this band could help a neck ache. I am now back to order more, and also to send one to my friend who had neck surgery years ago and she also suffers chronic neck aches.I am just absolutely delighted. BOnus---It also gives my older face juuuust a wee bit of lift, like a mini-face lift, not much, but just a tiny tad smoother.Also, so far as wigs go, this DOES hold my wig in place, AND it comforts my scalp, protecting it from the rather scratchy innards of my wig. It did NOT noticeably lift my wig up, it is not visible through my wig. It also holds back all my crazy wild hair from sneaking out of the edges of my wig.By the way, I have a size 26.5 inch head. I know, like Guinness world record head, LOL, yet, this thing DID fit my head. It is snug, reeally snug, and i thought, oh no, this will give me a headache, but i was wrong, no headache.IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE with a chronic neck ache, send them one of these. "MIght" help, sure won't hurt. I wear this band to bed now. JUst so thrilled, why didn't my doctor tell me a snug band around my scalp might help my neck ache? who knew?

Nice soft fabric, and very thin so it doesn't really add much bulk or heat. It's comfortable to wear, and does help keep the wig in place. I think it will be fine for my normal use. I do get a little bit of slippage if I shake my head violently or tug on the wig a bit, but I think that's because the wig itself is slightly too big for my head. If I had a petite wig with a tighter-fitting cap, I think the wig grip would be able to hold it on better.It is just barely able to work with my tiny head (21"). The Velcro strip is 6.5" long so it will suit a large variety of head sizes, but I have to overlap the strips so much that I have it attached at the very last inch. That leaves a really long flap that has to be tucked under. But it works. I suppose you could cut off the excess if it bothered you. If your head is any smaller than mine, though, you'll want to find a product specifically made for petite head sizes.The product seems nicely made and was well packaged.

I wanted to use a head scarf to hold my hair back but the "satin" (polyester) scarves were so slippery that I couldn't even get them tied around my head, let alone make them stay put for any length of time. I looked around online to figure out how other people make their scarf stay and several people recommended a wig grip. I was extremely skeptical but WOW, it's shockingly effective!! The wig grip headband is comfortable and stays put all day, and allows the satin scarf to also stay put. Even when I tip my head back or shake it, or scratch underneath, the scarf and headband don't move at all. Amazing!!

This band works nicely to keep wig in place with no shifting. They do stretch out too long after awhile.

It says to wear the tag on the outside a certain way but that's backwards to how you have to wear it. It's got to have grip going backwards not soft. So turn it inside out if you're going to use this one. Also it's too wide. It would have been better to be more narrow.
