Overall decent shield. A little lax on the cutting of the brass accent pieces...sloppy cuts, etc.

Was smaller than expected but planned on a wall hanger. Highly oily making black paint wear off at rivets. Has poor quality from damaged rings (pic) to deformed parts with bang/scratch marks (other pic) . Back handle wasn't round as in pic but flat and was bent almost flat , had to bend back in shape just to get hand in it. Glad it's just for decoration.

I carried mine all day at a ren faire and it was hassle-free!I was expecting it to be a little bigger, but it's still large enough to cover a torso. Being smaller actually ended up being a benefit, making it light enough that your arm won't get tired. I opted to paint mine to match my armor motif and it took the paint really well! (Remember to seal your paint before you get it wet!)

The picture I saw made it look bigger than it really is in person, light weight pairs with the sword quite well but I love it I’d use it for anything as well

Husband has always wanted a shield for our weapons display, so this was his Christmas present. He was all excited and loved it. Only issue is it is missing one of the star-shaped rivets. I'm working with the seller to see what our options are for repair or replacement.
