This broom is listed as having a weight of 0.042 ounces or 1.19 grams. Clearly this is wrong so what is the real wieght?

The weight of the broom is 2.63 pounds

If broken down could most of the broom be composted?

I am not there, yet. Mine is still in excellent condition. In my opinion it looks like it would take an awful long time to break down. I 'll either burn mine outdoors with yard waste, or put it in the trash.

Diameter of the handle?

Don’t like this broom. So heavy and doesn’t do the good job that others do. Diameter probably an inch.
