Robot-themed building bricks for over 8s
I agree with another reviewer that some of the pieces in this building set are very small. The manufacturer says it is suitable for over 6s, but I would perhaps advise over 8s. In the box emblazoned with 'Robot Warrior King' and the fact there are 8 projects in 1 (plus illustrations of what can be built), there is an instruction manual, stickers for the finished projects, and the building bricks in separate sealed packets. These are Lego-style building blocks or bricks, which are also compatible with most other building blocks or bricks, and look to be of reasonable quality and well-made. The projects are all shown in the instruction manual, which is a series of steps with pictures (no words). Each of the eight robots can be rebuilt as a vehicle, and of course there is the robot warrior king to build who uses all elements. My step-nephew is thrilled to be given this set, as he is very much into robots and the 'transforming' aspect is appealing to him too. At the moment, it's £29.99 with a 50% voucher (so £14.98) which seems a bargain for such a decent-sized building set. We are pleased with this product and so we are happy to recommend.

Fantastic construction set
I am a big fan of the Panlos STEM range and this one has been just as great. My 8 year old son loves these toys and I love how much he can do with them while learning. This one is a robot and vehicle set so perfect for any construction l, vehicle and robot lovers. The parts are very small and I would only recommend this for children from 6 years plus. This set is very well made sturdy and colourful. My son loved building the 25 sets, making the 9 robots and 16 vehicles and transforming them from one thing to another and then into a gigantic robot!! He is also a robot fan and had fun making up stories with imaginative play. These STEM sets help creative play, logical thinking, hand eye coordination and help your child's motor skills all while having fun. They are great value for money and make a great gift for any fans of construction kits, vehicles and robots. A great Lego-style building set.
I assume this set is mainly for boys to play with, but it can be used by anyone that loves Lego-style bricks. The theme for this set is robots and cars. Building sets like these can help a child’s development in many ways and are so important. It arrives in a decent retail box. This set comes with 100’s of pieces and can make lots of different projects such as robots or vehicles. The instructions come in the form of a colour booklet and gives concise details of each build. What’s so important with this sort of building bricks is their quality. Poor quality can put a child in danger, and I’ve looked long and hard at the individual pieces and found no safety problems. The plastic is hard and unlikely to break and there is no sign of any sharp edges. Mind you, they still hurt if you stand on any of them! The only safety issue is the choking hazard and insertion of parts in noses, ears, etc. This is something that can’t be catered for, so adult supervision is required.Overall, a great Lego-style building set. I hope that helps.

Fun But it's Not Danish!
PANLOS STEM Robot Educational Learning Building Bricks.Kit Number 633026This is a fairly large building brick set, which is currently priced at £29.99. This is obviously a fraction of what a similar product would cost from Lego. You can make several smaller models. These smaller models then can be joined together to create a bigger 'hero piece' the giant transformer type robot. The instruction booklet, it's printed in full colour. I would have liked to see the 'bricks needed' to complete each stage to be printed a lot bigger. I had trouble working out which bricks I needed on certain stages. Some of the build sequences are also too difficult to decipher, again due to the pictures being so small.Overall it's a good set for the price, but don't expect Lego quality. It falls short of the Danish manufactures products. The suggested age is 6+, I personally don't think a child so young could make the models shown, without a lot of adult help.[11 images attached]

Huge set with lots to keep little one’s entertained.
This is a large building block set, not only can you build 8 vehicles two ways, they all have the ability to become a robot and each build contributes to create one large robot! That’s 25 builds in one set! What I personally love having a six year old is that the set is designed to grow with their abilities, the smaller builds can be made and played with then as your child’s confidence grows they can create the bigger more complex build. My daughter still needs direction when building and it is always something we do together as a family, having said that the instructions are clear and coloured so easy to follow if your little one already has some experience with this type of toy.At £29.99 (April ‘21) it is easy to think that this is expensive but when you break it down to the 8 smaller builds that’s £3.75 each which is more than reasonable. A good investment set that is compatible with the major brand and contains lots to keep your little ones entertained. Happy to recommend.
