Quality value and innovation all around great tarp
The Bear Hard tarp in my initial inspection and review seems like it hits all the notes. I especially like the inner reflective surface a feature my more expensive brand name tarp does not offer. This could be a life saver on colder weather as it would reflect heat back from a fire built in front of the tarp(in a safe manner)! Also the UV resistant coating and 3000pu waterproofing is awesome. I like that it comes with stakes guy lines and carry bag. It has many tie out points and reinforced Grommets as well. I posted this review because the camo picture looks like a non descriptive camo and it’s hard to tell if it’s useful but the tarp I received has a generic looking woodland based camo not high design but perfect for northeastern and woodland forest environments. it actually will blend in quite well in most environments the backs are there and not that animals care but it’s not and ugly pattern to look at. Bear Hard seems to be the type of company making outdoor gear that cares and provides vale and dies the little things right. It does not matter what you pay if something is garbage or does not do it’s job in the field. Bear Hard made a good product at a good value that with the stakes, uv coating, and reflective inner surface ups the tarp game and provides a better product value that just may do a better job in a real shelter need of keeping you warm. Dry and alive. Do me a favor support them but leave me some in stock in case I need another.lol!

Great tarp
Very nice tarp. Lots of straps to tie down. Some reviews said it would crack but yeah if left out in the sun for long periods of time. You have to understand it not a permanent cover. It’s a tarp and made for temporary cover and use. If used that way it is perfect. So the negative reviews you must look at what they were doing with them that made them unhappy. I would recommend this tarp as its intended use. At that it excels.

Need Two Photos
I purchased the 10x12.This tarp looks awesome! But, you need to add a photo for the 10x12 as IT does not have the center seam with loop as shown in the photo. I can only presume the pictured one is 10x10? (Only reason I dropped a star. I really liked that feature and the 10x12 does NOT have it! I was saddened about it, but it's not a deal breaker)Also, the are MORE than three loops on top for the ridgeline than pictured too, which is awesome! Five I believe!I haven't tried it out yet, so can't rate it's durability, but sure looks like it'll be great!

A well made, relatively inexpensive tarp.
I bought the 10'x12' camo tarp. What I didn't do was read the part in the description where it mentions that the underside of the tarp was silver in color—a foil-like silver. It's purpose is to block UV rays and thats kind of nice if you're sensitive in that way. Though, it does defeat the camo pattern on the outside. But, no matter. I'm not trying to hide from anyone, I just like to be unobtrusive and blend in. That flash of silver negates that to a degree. If I wanted to trim some weight, it could be accomplished by removing the metal strap/tie-down buckles. They do however, make set-up and tensioning convenient and easy. For the price, it's hard to go wrong. It's a complete set-up, attractively packaged and both the carry sack and tarp are well made. I'm fairly sure it will be durable and also, far quieter than a plastic tarp in a breeze. Quite nice.

Great tarp…bad storage bag
I wanted to really love this tarp. But…mine didn’t come with ridgeline loops. And it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get this thing back into the bag. I lost my religion trying to stuff it back in. Only to find you must fold fold and then roll right. And even then, barely gets back into the bag. I believe I have used it now 4 times and already seeing areas that are fraying Which is disheartening, because I take meticulous care of my camping gear.
