60W Adjustable Temperature Soldering Iron Kit - 9-in-1 With 5 Tips, Solder Wire Stand for Soldering and Repair

I got to say about a year ago I ordered same one of these Cheapos and I used once and not for a very long time and I unplugged it and one of the plugs came out and stuck in my little extension cord and I refused that whole time to get another cheap one, but refused to invest in a expensive quality one 60w or more and the time came to where I had to do something And boy Jay, I get a pleasant surprise. I’ve have it maybe four days now I do a lot of things, but soldering is not one of them and the first day and half I must’ve spent probably an hour and a half trying to solder on a couple wires to Couple cars tweeters and after that the second wire probably only took me about 10 minutes, but all that time I ran at hot, Then yesterday, using it for now, what is intended for I ran it for probably 2-3 hours 350 to 480° still not a problem never shut off never smelled just kept working. And then today to kicker which was I used it again for his unintended purpose most of which was on the 480 setting but no lower than three 350 and between me using it and then forgetting, I left it on and just coming back to it now it was still on 480. It was still working and the cord wasn’t even hot. I was I had said at least four hours ago and I am sure I use it for hours today so this little sucker should I put me in my place. I’m not saying I recommend doing it but I happen to get into UV resin recently and after my first experience, I put them on the plug so they didn’t pull out and I found some solder of I don’t know what kind from probably the 90s if not earlier, but as you see it’s thick and it melted this And was usable and why they came with it sucks because this was way better and look how big it is for little tweeters but again I’m not a signer, but I do know how to use and abuse something and leave it on and tell you that it still works and unit or cord doesn’t get hot

Wow! This is by far the best pencil iron I've ever used, WHEN CONSIDERING PRICE. It's dirt cheap, heats quickly, and maintains temperature fairly well. The temp adjust dial isn't especially accurate, but it get the job done fine.The instructions are on another level. Five minutes of reading and I know more about tip care, iron maintenance, and tip degradation than my father did, and he wired F16s back in the day.Along with the iron, you get a small but excellent stand, big chunk of rosin,10 feet of solder (unknown composition though), and a handful of different tips.My only complaint, and it may be a big one for some people, is that the retaining rings (holds body/heating element to the handle) really suck. The metal is thin and weak, and the threads are just nasty, unless you enjoy cross threading. I expect the rings to fail after switching tips a few more times, but I'm fairly certain JB Weld and some thin nuts will fix the issue. No problem for me, maybe for you, though.I'm gushing. This iron was a very pleasant surprise. It's a great backup for anyone, and perfect for a first iron, or for general electrical work around the house. Well done, company and factory!

I needed a soldering kit to fix a metal clasp on a bag charm and am a total beginner! So this price point was perfect and I had zero expectations for this item.Keep in mind I’ve never soldered before so if you are looking for a quality product this probably isn’t for you. I was able to fix my item but even I can tell this is not a great kit and it also didn’t come with instructions (keep in mind I have never used one before so that would have been helpful ha!) I also was unsure if it got hot enough but it seemed to handle my task okay … just took awhile!I doubt I will ever use it again but if you are like me and need something cheap and easy and don’t really care if it works well, then this is your product lol!! It did the job I needed!

Perfect.Had a wire break in the starter control console in my motorcycle.$150 and a PITA to replace so i thought i'd try the $8 route.Worked like a charm.Never soldered anything in my life and this first job was a TINY little wire to a TINY little connection.Piece of cake.Paid for itself 20 times over with its first (and probably only) use.

My son broke his favorite toy so I needed one of these to put the wires back together. And fast. I saw this one and thought its cheap but hopefully it would get the job done. It came in the SAME DAY. For the price it actually feels high quality. The attachments made it super easy to get into small places and it takes me time to get hot. It worked perfectly and honestly im having so much fun using it im trying to put other things together. Definitely would recommend!!

Not satisfied with this soldering iron. Compared to other cheaper ones, it did not hold up very long. I love all that it came with but that doesn't make up for the fact that I have to change out tips or use another iron just to do what I need to do. Will not get this again unless I just need all the parts it has with it unless this is gonna be a one-and-done for a job site or something.

Great soldering iron for small jobs. Versatile tips included with the kit. Love this iron.
