His To Claim (His To Claim Series Book 1)

Rejection, Second Chance and Winner Takes All
This book had a lot of intrigue, action and emotion within the pages…. it’s a second chance wolf romance, it’s a rejection storyline and it’s an enemies to lovers tale. Oh, let’s not forget the healthy doses of revenge and jealousy either. We have brother against brother, mate against mate and a blatant case of winner takes all. The question is: who will win?Scarlett was what we’d call a late bloomer. She didn’t come to her wolf maturity till much later than normal. When she finally does mature, she’s allowed into pack meetings. And wouldn’t you know it, her very first meeting she finds her mate. Ahhh, but all is not a happy ending here as he rejects her.David, her mate, is more of a follower than a leader. This doesn’t bode well for a wolf that’s next in line for alpha. His parents, the current alpha and luna, already have chosen a mate for David and tell him he has to reject Scarlett, that she is not luna material. Having no backbone to stand up to his parents he mates with his parents choice and lives his life in regret… UNTIL everything boils over and he joins forces with the enemy.Scarlett didn’t die from the rejection but it certainly didn’t leave her unscathed. At the first opportunity, she takes off leaving her pack behind. While on the run she meets Noah, a rogue turned alpha with a sad, painful and harsh backstory of his own. Herein is the problem…. they both have been given a second chance but being burned so badly in the past, neither are ready for another mate. And with war on the horizon, enemies everywhere and betrayal within the pack, how does it all work out?👁^👁 OBSERVATIONS:… As for Scarlett, holding her tongue was not her forte. It was frustrating at times until I kept reminding myself that was her way of putting up a protective wall… Needed to ‘see’ David’s parents reactions to the new Scarlett. Do they ‘see’ that she wolf they considered inadequate in a different light? Their choice brought about their doom. When did they realize that?… Couldn’t help but feel somewhat sorry for David.… Would have liked to hear Kellen’s last words.

Excellent Read
I really enjoyed this novel. I liked that you got to see through several different perspectives and how they all came together. The author did a wonderful job with creating a stubborn but lovable main female lead. I cannot wait to see what others books this author has.

I loved reading this. It started slow but turned into a nice book to read. Kept my interest the whole time.

ok
This was ok. I really did not care for Scarlett’s character. She was too whinny and the chemistry was forced. The book has a lot of potential but it was not the best rejected mate story that I’ve read.

Wonderful
This book is about a young girl named Scarlet who is rejected by her old pack and accidentally stumbles into a new pack and finds a new mate. However, rogue wolves are hunting unpack grounds, and Scarlet doesn’t realize how big of a girl she’s about to play until she’s knee-deep in meeting Noah, the new demon wolf alpha. This novel had me crying, laughing, and yelling at the characters as I read this book. Also, both our main characters have demons in their past. Two broken people come together and make an incredible love story.

Okay, but Poorly Edited with Unlikable Male Lead
This book was well-written with a compelling story, but the awful and abusive male lead was too much for me.There are a fair amount of spelling and punctuation errors, but it’s not a huge issue. The real problem for me was just how awful the male lead treats the protagonist and he never has any consequences for it. It’s a very one-sided relationship where she does all the growing and adapting. He also basically holds her hostage and does inappropriate things without consent.Basically, good writing and fun book, if you don’t mind a male lead that is the worst.

Good book
It's a good book but trying to find the update on Noah and Scarlett is impossible. The link to it is broken and goes to a virus page. Which is saddening. I wanted to read that one.

Good read
Got this book free so gave it a try. Liked the storyline and enjoyed where the story went. Found Scarlett to be a very strong independent wolf, the perfect Luna that David soon realised was a huge mistake to reject her but her and Noah were perfect for each other. But disappointed no epilogue even though there's a link for an added epilogue the link so no longer works.

Good, well written story.
Read this knowing nothing about the author, but had a lovely surprise. A cut above the average werewolf book. Good story line, strong characters and well thought out fight scenes. Definitely worth a read.
