When I first began collection erotic art of all kinds I really wanted someone who could give you all the charm of Elvgren's work and Rockwell<s color and truth...enter Alvarado!I first bought his classic modern pin-ups and was floored (you can see my glowing review under that book)and asked for more...well...here it is!! It's not just nude or pinup...it's Alvarado's crisp colorful flawless airbrushed quality perfection. His work is playful and provocative without ever being cheap or pornographic. 100% art and all of it delectable eye candy.I sincerely hope we continue seeing his work in more and more collections. He is a master at what he does. Granted he didn't invent the genre but he has definitely brought it to the next level. Very tasteful and imaginative.
The book was a purchase due to my love of tattoos and the women they adorn. I was hesitant to purchase but upon reading other reviews and researching Alvarado, I thought why not. I was pleased at the picture quality and the vivacious colours used. The depiction of the female form is tantalising as well as evocative.Not all the models are covered in tattoos, some merely have one or two small ones. I can appreciate talent in photography and Alvarado definitely knows how to capture innocence and defiance in one swoop. A great addition to any photo collection and worth the money. The book is quite large and captures the tattoos in great detail. A must for those who love tattooed women and who also love the rebellion of the middle class.

The Wonderment of a Beautiful Book
The first thing that meets the eye with this collection is the cover. Many of Alvarado's pin-ups have tattoos, some exquisite, some just plain, but they leave the reader wanting more.The book is in glossy paper, so the art work is hard to distinguish between photography and illustration. There are over 145 pin-up nudes from pert to busty, the plain to the weirdest, uniforms to head-dresses and more.Robert Alvarado's photos shows the models in all their beauty, but most of all, they show the creativity of an artist who can use innovative techniques to bring out the beauty of what inspired him to take it in the first place.I recommend you grab a copy and get lost in the wonderment of such a beautiful book.

Great book
I am a big fan of pinup girls. Not what I expected but still great. I was hoping there were more of the WW2 style pinups but still some very great pictures and very artistic with the tattoos.

Sells itself
Bought this for my husband as he loves the pin up look. The book arrived damaged on several corners. I returned it and received a beautiful and undamaged book. It's a large coffee table book and I love the bright colors and great photography.

Another stunning book from Alvarado
Bought this for my wife. She recently discovered Alvarado on InstaGram and quickly fell in love with his photography. I cam across this book by happenstance and knew immediately that I had to get it for her. The photography is stunning and the models are beautiful. The book is hardbound and made to last.

Worth buying
Amazing and beautiful book. Some models are repeated a bit and others just show up once with their back turned... Which is disappointing, but overall, a great book.Large pages, thick paper, great printing and hard cover. Its an amazing piece to own.

A bargain
A fantastic book, a fantastic bargain. The photographic technique and creativity are great. The print quality is exemplary. Some may find that some girls that grace this book are victim of anorexia (or nearly that); I think many pics are manipulated – longer legs, thinner bodies, higher heels etc. – and if that bothers you, I’ve warned you.

Beautiful book
Very beautiful pictures. Alvarado is an great artist who knows how to make the perfect photo's.I hope to see more of his work.
