Great for peace of mind.
Expiration date was 3 years out which isn’t bad. It’s just nice to have at home for peace of mind in the event of an emergency.

The only brand recommended by FDA!
I hope I never need this, but if I do, it's a comfort to know that this is the only brand recommended by the FDA for a nuclear event.Keep in mind, if you need potassium iodide, this will only protect your thyroid. You will still need to protect facial orifices and mucus membranes (mouth and nose with a respirator, eyes with a face shield). The danger to your eyes from radiation is blindness, the danger to your nose is damage to your lungs, and the danger from not protecting your mouth is radiation entering and damaging your digestive tract. This information is provided for those who want to be prepped out the wazoo.

Can't be too prepared!
This three pack is an extremely good value, don't pay more elsewhere (though be sure to check the main website as well). IOSAT is the only brand that's approved to sell potassium iodide. Make sure your pack is sealed and marked with a LOT# and expiration to ensure it's a genuine product.Note that while this pill does have an expiration date, pills are still effective long afterwards. So while you should still maintain fresh stock, you can hold onto the "expired" product long afterwards as backup. I split my 3-pack to keep some in my backpack, at home and in my car.

Worth the price for several years peace of mind.
This is a fair price for a little extra peace of mind. The pills come in individual foil packaging inside a thin plastic wrapper. I can see that all the pills are there and the foil undamaged through the plastic, and read the instructions on the card inside, which gives clear and easy to understand instructions. For an adult, one pill per day is needed, and they give instructions on dosage for children and infants, as well as suggestions for how to give a dose to a child or infant. I recommend taking a look at the instructions, as they provide important storage information: keep them out of light and store between 68 and 77 degrees Fahrenheit. The expiration date is printed on the plastic wrapper. When I bought these, the seller guaranteed an expiration date of October 2024 or later, and what I got is set to expire November 2029, so I'm pretty pleased. Even if they were the 2024 batch, it's well worth the price if you live anywhere with the threat of a radiation disaster. Most of the people in the US live close enough to a nuclear power plant that they should at least consider getting iodine pills. They're cheap and potentially life-saving.

Expy 2030 thru Seller “The Brky Guy”
If you’re looking at potassium iodine pills, you don’t need me to tell you about them — you’re buying these for the same reason I did, and you’re searching for a seller who has product which will have the expiration date furthest into the future.“The Brky Guy” is the seller I purchased from. The printed expiration date on the IOSAT foil of the product I received is 2030. The FDA also states “ studies over many years have confirmed that none of the components of KI tablets, including the active ingredient, has any significant potential for chemical degradation or interaction with other components or with components of the container closure system when stored according to labeled directions.” Take this information as you will.Packaging was all intact. The manufacturer’s packaging was then placed inside of sealed plastic envelopes, which were shipped inside of a box.Shipping also beat the projected date by a few days. All around great experience.
