The JeepBackbone tailgate bar replaces the OEM tailgate bar to secure the rear window when the BackBone security enclosure is installed. ONLY to be used in conjunction with the BackBone security enclosure. Will not work without the BackBone security enclosure installed.

Great idea, but can be executed better.
Great concept, but the velcro that comes with it to attach the tailgate sleeve to the plastic insert that attaches to the rear window is not strong enough and the adhesive doesn't keep the 2 pieces together. I've had this on my jeep for over 6 months and at month 4 the adhesive backing on the velcro strip has started to fail. I think they could have designed it better or have hot glued the velcro piece to the insert.

Not very well made
Company needs to get away from the glue and velcro but need a more permanent solution to keeping it secure. Maybe screws or some other type to keep it together.
