Carburetor replacement for Kohler Huayi 14053 90 w/ 149cc Engine

The fit was just fine! Works perfectly.

After sitting for over 2 years, I couldn't get the mower (Kohler) to run. I ordered this carb kit and installed it and it runs great! Easy installation...Even if you didn't have a shut off valve on your mower, you definitely need to install the shut off flow valve in the gas line or gas will continue to flow into the carburetor and flow out the filter.

Exact fit, lawnmower started on first pulled and is still running strong

First off... it works. BUT the linkage was slightly different than my OEM carb (14053), so apparently there are variations of this carb. There is a "55" below my part number on the carb, but I couldn't find that specific carb anywhere.Install is pretty easy, and there's ZERO adjustment needed. Fired right up on the second pull.It works, but one of the rods is jammed, leaving the carb mostly open because my oem linkage had a 'slot' rather than this ones 'hole'. I THINK this is causing it to let fuel drain into the carb and overflow the bowl while off. LUCKILY, they included the really random extra hose, shut off valve, and clamps that shouldn't be needed. So now, I just shut off the fuel when I'm done. Otherwise the fuel overflows the carb, soaks the air filter, and flows out the air intake.Its odd that they include the extra stuff, but hey, if you need/want it, its nice to have. Though, you SHOULDN'T need it.

Perfect for the price. It is after market and you can tell it is built like the factory model but it does the job and have not had any complaints so far used 4 times since replacing.

Although the item/ part number matched what i needed, the linkages were not compatible with my mower. Ended up using parts from this Carb ie, the bowl and float only, installing them on my old unit.

Just needed this part here and it worked beautifully. Got my lawnmower up and running. Happy mowing.
