Works Well for My Purposes
I purchased this walkie talkie set to use at work. I work in nursing and my team and I use walkie talkies to communicate with each other. The ones they provide at my job are large and bulky, dragging on your clothes and constantly getting in the way. Especially since we already carry many things on our person- even more so since 2020 (masks, goggles, gloves, hand sanitizer, etc).I came on Amazon looking for a relatively inexpensive and small (emphasis on small and lightweight) set. I use one and gave the other to a co-worker and we’ve been using them for a couple of weeks now. This model is pretty small compared to some but not the smallest I’ve seen. They’re small enough for my purposes though and I can clip it to my scrub top or the side of my pants without it pulling down my clothing much. The walkies themselves are pretty light but get a bit heavier (understandably) when you add batteries but they’re pretty unobtrusive even with the added weight. For some people having a rechargeable set of walkies would be more convenient but for my purposes that isn’t necessary as my job provides batteries. And since the rechargeable walkies tend to be more expensive, battery-operated ones are more realistic for me. As for how long a set of batteries lasts I can say they hold up for a decent amount of time. I work two 16 hour shifts a week and the walkies are on that entire time with interspersed use throughout the day. I’ve also forgotten to turn them off when throwing it in my bag and the battery life was still pretty good. I’ve only changed the batteries twice since purchasing these a couple of weeks ago. If you plan to use them continuously without much pause the batteries would obviously not last as long as they have for me.Some features I appreciate on these walkies are the lock button so I don’t change the settings or hit the talk button if I lean on the walkie talkie inadvertently while providing care to patients. I also find the little flashlight to be pretty convenient- for my purposes I can use the flashlight to check a persons pupils, inside their mouths, or to illuminate a wound for better clarity and treatment. I also like that there is a second privacy channel. This is especially useful working in nursing since we sometimes share more personal information (although we never use patient names just in case). So anyone in range who sets their walkie to channel 7 for instance can both hear what we’re saying and communicate with us even if they aren’t part of our team. But thanks to the second privacy setting in order to listen in on our channel you have to be on channel 7 AND have the privacy setting set at the correct number as well so that’s an added benefit.I have no real complaints but if I had to come up with one I’d say that having to remove the battery cover from underneath the clip is quite hard to do as the clip is very stiff making it somewhat necessary to remove the clip to replace the batteries. This is a bit of an inconvenience but not much in the way of a real complaint. If the clip was maybe a bit shorter and a tad more pliable this would have been the perfect design.I’d purchase these again for sure. If any substantial changes happen with this product in the next several months I’ll update my review accordingly.Edit: It’s been over a year since I purchased these walkie-talkies and thought I’d stop in to share my overall experience. The clip has broken, probably from removing it so many times to change the batteries. The labels have rubbed off the buttons but I know what all the buttons are used for since I’ve been using this walkie regularly. It’s important to note that I’ve put these walkers through the ringer- I use them A LOT and I drop it constantly.. but it still works! My five star rating still stands. While cosmetically the walkie talkie has seen better days it still does the job I need it to do and I really have no complaints. If you are using these walkie talkies casually you most likely will not have any of these issues for a very long time!

Not bad
Not bad for the price. They work well, but one stopped working all together after a couple of months.

Would Not Recommend
These walkies are pure static 20 ft or more away. Not to mention it deceives you in believing the batteries don't work when really the walkies can't handle the battery power.

For the whole family !!!
Like the AAA battery instead of just rechargeable batteries (can use NiMH rechargeables) Range is good, battery life is good, sound quality is good - VOX is good - light is good. Fun for kids - useful for adults. Solid device.
