excellent bead buster
great product!!! first let me say that I purchased this outright, no gifts no free trial etc,,, with that said it is a great product!!I just used this to break a bead on a old tractor tire, this works fantastic,,, had to break it in 3 different areas but it was easy todo. it looks like a quality made product and planning on using it on removing some atv tires next... its a little pricey buttire shop wanted $100 to change the tractor tire, now if they made some good tire irons!!!Update on the review, I have been using this now for a few months, let me say it has been fantastic, I just used it to break beadson a 8 inch lawn tractor rims works flawlessly!! one of the best investments I have made. well worth the money

Best Money Ever Spent. Works great on big tractor tires
The media could not be loaded. I ran over a deer shed with the John Deere 4640 and ruined the tube. What’s important to understand is the technique’s required in order to use this product. Research using this on tractor tires via YouTube. Unbelievably easy once you figure out the proper techniques…! I had an 18.4x38 tire off the rim in minutes using this tool. John Deere 4640 loves it. This tools saves a lot of time and money. No more service calls. Get out the 30 inch tire spoons or whatever you have and when used with this tool makes the process enjoyable. Don’t forget the baby powder and a way to clean up the rust scale from off your rims…I used to remove tires with a sledge hammer. Never again.

Heavy duty and does the job well
I run a small engine business and this is the only thing that will break down a side by side tire. They are tough to get off the bead. This will pop them off all day long. Very well made. As long as you keep the threads lubed I can see this thing lasting a lifetime.

Works great, but don't be misled
I read a lot of reviews before I purchased the Bead Buster. Two reviews stood out as hitting the nail on the head. 1} Don't expect this to work like you see on the video's. It works great on stuck beads, but not that easy. You may have to develop a technique in it's use. 2} Go ahead and get a couple of grade 8 bolts and replace the one that come with it. The threads started to pull on the sixed run in and out. I straightened them out and proceeded to break the bead. It's just an inconvenience that could be avoided. Other than that, the XB 550 is a very good tool when you need it. About five more uses, and it will be worth it.

Works well - Don't use an impact wrench!!!
This product did work for me, and made a difficult job much easier, but a word of advice - DON'T use an impact wrench on this. I bet a lot of the poor reviews are from folks that used an impact wrench. Ask me how I know.Their customer service took great care of me.

Works well
Heavy duty. Worked well even on an ancient rock-hard tractor tire

Works well, but overpriced.
I purchased this to break beads on tires that won't fit on the tire machine. I must say, it is much smaller than I expected, only weighing a few pounds. So far, it has worked very well and tackled the most stubborn beads. The wedge easily slips under the bead and tightens to the rim very nicely. I have used it on 8" rims, ATV rims, and even tractor rims. However, there are a few issued that are unforgivable. First, the magnetic spacer on the tool is weak and falls off if bumped. Second, the return spring is too weak for my liking. Doesn't always return when loosening and then slams closed once removed. Third thing, the rim protector is a wear item and a replacement should be included at the price they charge. A replacement spring should also be provided. Ultimately, after seeing this thing in person, I'm disappointed that this company is selling $15 worth of materials for $250.
