Holds well
I have stained it to be a bit darker and it hasn't made it less durable. It has helped me organize and display all my paints and has been super easy to build, install on my wall using thumbtacks, and use. It looks amazing on my wall and was a great purchase for my miniature painting business.

Just what I needed
It's hard to find a paint rack designed for tamiya 23ml bottles. Everything else that's smaller seems to have 30 different options and designs but few are equipped to handle the 23ml Tamiya bottles. I think this is a good size if you have a variety of bottles because the big and small bottles will fit. Im able to place my alclad and Vallejo bottles and also 10ml Tamiya bottles just fine without worry of them falling out. The good thing about this rack when comparing with others is that each slot is completely enclosed which means you can place other bottles that might be a little smaller. There are other designs out there that use a half circle to save on materials and cost. That setup works fine if you have all of the same type of bottles but as soon as you need to store something smaller it's gonna fall outWorks really well on a table and it felt stable when I had it on my desk. I decided to mount it to the wall to give me more room which was easy to do. I took off a star because I felt like when wall mounting the bottom portion is tapered and sticks out a bit. Not a lot and not really a big deal but as you can see in my pics I'm almost to capacity and will probably be buying another one soon. When I go to mount the other one on top it won't look nice and flush and pretty. I've seen other designs that are flat so I believe the design is possible. Perhaps the company could make a version specifically for wall mounting (but still have a complete circle for each slot)

Finicky to Assemble, But Useful and Great Looking
I purchased the 60 slot Citadel and the 72 Vallejo units. (So far...)They come flat packed, in a cardboard box shrink wrapped in plastic, with instructions and paper between each wood layer. The larger pieces were already cut out and had the extra wood removed. The small connectors were still in/attached to the wood they were cut from. You just need to pop them out and I found the little wood "tool" they provided useful for that process. They were a little finicky to assemble since things are pretty flimsy until you get the second side on. But it wasn't too bad. First one took maybe 20-30 minutes, second one took like 10 minutes since I understood how it went together. The instructions are a little sparse and could use some larger more detailed pictures. But the text helps explains some more of the process. The fit and finish was fine for laser cut parts. Smells really nice at least to me. The price seems a little high to me, but they look and feel like they'll last. The Citadel one makes it a little hard to see the names on the pots since they sit kinda low if you don't hang these up. But I had no issues getting everything I had onto the rack and everything seems stable and looks great. The Vallejo one is easier to read the paint names just because the bottles are taller. Bottles also sit nicely and look impressive when full.My only, soon to be rectified, problem was that I had more paints then I thought lol. Going to order another one soon.

A bit confusing but does the job.
Its a little bit confusing to assemble and obviously isn't the most sturdy, is made of cheap wood but hold all my paints from a variety of manufacturers and bottle sizes.

You get what you pay for
I have tons of paint, and was looking for a way to keep it in a smaller footprint. Plus, for some inconcieable reason, no one sells zippered paint holding kits like you can get for (well, almost every other brand of hobby paint that comes in the dropper bottle). Anyway. The Pros: Its inexpensive and holds quite a few pots of paintThe Cons: Its flimsy. I have to be really careful when I pick this thing up and move it (which I do quite often). I am generally a very careful person, so normally I don't worry too much about this sort of thing - but its so flimsy, I worry about it every time I move it.The angle/distance of the shelves is just a *little* bit off from optimal. Every time I go to pull a paint pot out, the little hinge in back catches the shelf above and nearly tips it over. (see above about me being careful). This is incredibly irritating and slows down work considerably.Assembling this thing is not hard per-se, but it took forever. So many tiny little pieces (that you have to be very careful with) that must be 'popped' out of a template. 0/10 recommend unless you absolutely need to save every penny.

Warped & Flimsy
The media could not be loaded. I was excited to have something to organize all the paints that would look good on my wall. I was impressed with the material and how everything locked together when I unpacked & assembled it.It became clear immediately after assembly that it was warped and very flimsy. I found some screws (not provided) to mount it to the wall; however, where they have the mounting holes, the backboard plate does NOT rest flush against the wall. I went ahead and mounted it being careful not to over-tighten the screws because I didn't want to break the plywood. Even after wall-mounted it, the lower right corner was still uneven. Before writing this review, I checked the item description to see if it mentioned being sturdy, and it did. I also thought maybe the acrylic version would be more robust and less likely to be warped like this one. But I hate to have to buy another one and end up with two worthless paint organizers. I don't see where requesting a refund is possible, but I will try.I would have given it ZERO stars if it were possible.
