I got these because I love me some chopped salads with every meal, and when hubby prepares meals, he just throws chunks of whatever foliage I happen to have in the fridge at the time, on a plate. When it's a baby spring mix (as pictured) it's not that big of a deal. But when it's romaine, kale, or regular spinach, it looks unattractive, and it's extra work to eat. So I invested in these shears to help with my cause. They worked out famously. Granted, I didn't need to really use them on the baby spring mix, but they sure did come in handy with the kale, spinach blend. Made for a really nicely blended chopped salad. I didn't have any issues with the shear mucking up either, except for when I first used them. I think I was being overly ambitious and had too bid a wad of salad in my grips. Once I got the amount just right, they cut like a dream and didn't clump up. They also rinsed nicely, and went right into my dish washer. I didn't need to use the brushed that came with it to unclog the shears. Love these!

This multipurpose scissors is a good kitchen tool and I love to discover new tools to use in the kitchen. It makes cooking more enjoyable. The scissors works very well with cilantro and green onions. I like the cover for the scissors because it holds the scissors in a case but is also useful to clean the blades of the scissors. I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it.

These are pretty good! They are not as good as my old pampered chef that just bit the dust, but let's consider so many things. first the price is absolutely right here! You cannot beat the value for the low price tag. The scissors come with a really nice cover that fits snugly and slides on easily. I also love the brush with these came with as it makes it far easier to clean the little pieces out. All in all this kind of kitchen scissors is always a pain to clean with wet herbs stuck in them, but they make the meal prep a million times easier. Make sure you always rinse right away, and you will have no issues to write home about. These are pretty sharp, make quick work of meal prep, and they are the right price. Honestly, no big complaints here.

This mashes the food, it doesn't cut it because it has no sharp blades. All blades are like the dull side of a knife. I stopped using this after my first attempt at using it. Unacceptable!

Perfect -- the whole kit, not just the scissors. The scissors are sturdy and simplify cutting scallions SO MUCH! But the cleaning kit is also fantastic. The price is also a plus! I think this cuts cooking prep time considerably. If, like myself, you too don't sooo much prep, but cut while oil is heating up, this is definitely something you could use in your kitchen!

This shear is a disappointment. Blades are not sharp enough for thyme stems, clog on parsley. Handles seem flimsy. Low price,low quality.

I've been struggling with trying different ways of cutting up my herbs. I tried one of those roller things but the herbs just cling to the blades and are difficult to clean. I like these scissors. They feel hefty and sturdy. The cut well. I like the little tools that are provided to sweep the little bits out of the blades. Good buy.

When we opened the product box, we found the black cleaning brush was missing and in it's place was a RED THONG! I don't mean that Amazon added a g-string to our shipping box. It was packaged with the scissors. We spent the first 10 minutes trying to convince ourselves it had a purpose other than decorating one's behind.Would have given a higher review had the thong been my size, but alas, I need to loose a few pounds. Sucks the brush was missing, but we got a good laugh atleast.Seriously though, how does a thong end up with herb scissors? lol
