Really nice bag for this price point
This was a very reasonably priced bag for all the features I received. The bag looks great and has a very decent selection of pockets-more on that later. I wanted a small, comfortable bag. I carry a lot of liquids in the summer months so it does need to be comfortable and this is. Straps are decently cushioned. With the cushions for shoulders and lower back (should also allow for the back to breathe). It's winter so I can't confirm that yet but it certainly looks like they will. Came with a basic H2O bladder. While it doesn't have a separate pocket for the bladder outside it does include a little velcro strip to keep bag upright in a bladder purposed pocket inside. I've used this for about 60 miles worth of hiking so far and it has held up great. Oh it also has two small reflector areas on back of pack. Here are my only concerns-and at this stage they are just concerns. The pack is of a lightweight material, though seems durable. The zippers are pretty lightweight so I'll just have to see how they hold up long term. The last thing. I'm a pretty big guy (38" waist) and though the waist belt does fit around me, there's no way I can reach the pockets on the belt without taking off the pack. I think if you had a 32" waist or less this simply would not be a problem. Comes with a waterproof cover. In summary some of the things I might find concerning in a pack costing twice as much or more I really can't honestly complain about at this price point. So far pack is comfortable and is holding up fine so for the very reasonable price paid I would have to say I'm totally satisfied. And did I mention the pack is very comfortable. So far longest single day walk was 12 miles and I had no aches or pains afterwards.

Pack Fit and Function Isn't Thoughtful
I'm returning this item once I am done writing this review. What has the pack moving back toward the shipping box was the result of trying it on. When I grabbed both ends of the thin, 1" non-padded waist strap and clicked them together I noticed the buckle was resting on my stomach making it clear any weight in the pack would be the sole responsibility of my shoulders with zero help from my sturdy hips. The storage on the waist belt is a nice touch but these zippered pouches are too far back on my hip to be useful. For example, with the pack on I could not see anything I placed in either of the pouches and the value of these is suppose to be convenience. The hydration system seems to have been an add-on. I could not locate tethers or a sleeve for the hose once it leaves the pack leaving most of the tubing exposed and likely to get caught on something. On the bright side I did like the idea of a cap on the bite valve. Zippers have a considerably finer tooth than on other packs I own and I like burly zippers that can push back on too much stuff. Overall it seems to a product with good intentions as it incorporates a lot of very useably features, but features alone do not make a pack and this pack lacks the integration of features and functionality to be of use for me. It's a $30 pack that I took a chance on, and it didn't work out for me.

Well made. Durable. Great fit and design
Have had this pak for over two years. Well designed and made. Still look new and holding up well to the beating the pack as taken. And I don't treat it with soft gloves. It gets tossed around and beat on during trips.

Short Torso, Best Water Bladder!
This backpack worked perfectly as the small day pack I wanted. I am 5' 6" and the pack felt just a bit "short" in the torso. The waist straps actually clip above my hips, not snug over them like my larger hiking backpack. So if you're expecting it to fit like a traditional structured hiking backpack this isn't it. There is no inner structure and wouldn't be ideal for carrying heavy items on long hikes. Now, as a day pack it is fantastic! So many pockets and in all the right places. I used this pack with a pair of hiking poles strapped to the front sides and they were very secure. The included water bladder is the best designed water bag I have ever used! (better than a Camelbak!) No leaks, very easy to empty/clean/dry completely, and the hose is plenty long enough and easy to tuck the spout out of the way while hiking.

Best daypack I have ever had!!
Great day pack. It’s very comfortable and hold everything you will need for a long day hike. It also comes with a water bladder that works great. I would buy again!!

Day Pack
I love this lightweight pack, even though I thought it was deceptive advertising after comparing real-life with the pictured size. It is true to size, but don't count on the bottom supports to do anything. I fit a bic lighter in them. That's how big they are. The straps are also narrow and can dig it if you overload the pack. It's for water, and some essentials, but there's still room to spare for whatever you want to add.

Straps tear easily!
I’m a women 5”1 - 120 lbs, strength level normal, point is that how hard can I pull on a strap to tear it, seriously has never happened in my 40 years of my life and I’ve owned many backpacks and many I still have today. On my fourth hike I went to strap my waist straps, it tore. Fifth hike I adjusted my shoulder strap it tore. I thought about reaching out to the company but I figured what’s the point…if the quality is this poor it’s just gonna break…so I trashed it. Don’t waste your money!!!Further more I bought two more as gifts, because I was so impressed when I received mine, it thought this is the perfect backpack…how embarrassing…

It's the small things!!
It's the small things that can make a huge difference..at first I was super excited about this pack. It had all the described features and fit well. Then I took it on its first hike, I was worried about the bladder but that works well but I did pop a side holder putting my hiking sticks through it..then on my second hike I lost a chest strap which made a lot of difference on my back. The bag is nice but the material could use more quality.
