PERFECT for hard top Jeep Wrangler with 1-4 snowboards
Worked perfectly! Better than i thought actually. I'd been looking for a way to transport snowboards with my hard top two door Jeep Wrangler. I'd looked at converting hitch bike racks to snow board racks, tire mount racks, everything... but it was all too expensive or unsure if it'd fit with an extra tire. I came accross this and gave it a go. The inflation away a bit tough but stayed wel inflated once we figured the double valve out. Also, BUY 4 EXTRA LASHING STRAPS. The front rack went perfectly through my front doors and around the roll cage. The back on had to also go through my front doors since I have a two door and I pulled it further back on the roof (so it was nicely spaced out) by tying 2 lashing straps through the d rings and back through the trunks and inside around the back of each roll bars. This kept the back rack far enough away to be perfectly spaced for snowboards. 4 snow boards fit perfectly as there are 4 spaces in between the d rings. I took a lashing strip through and ring, up and over the board (in front of the binding) down through and ring, up and over a board and so on, then down through the car and secured the strap. The same thing for the back behind the bindings and they were nice and secure (we easily drove 60 mph and felt no flopping or moving). The best part is they remove easily and roll up in the bag so I can easily store them in the tiny trunk of my two door Wrangler and use them for other hauling needs in the future. This product is perfect but buy extra straps. I purchased a set of 4 and it was exactly what we needed.

Works, well-priced but may not work perfectly in all situations
I bought this for an unusual circumstance - 4 sets of skis and 4 adults going on a ski trip, on a car without racks. The price was definitely right for a 'one-shot deal'. On the good news front, the fit is universal, and it is very compact when stowed in its bag. The materials seem more durable than I would have expected at this price. On the less good news front, it is really only designed for 3 pairs of skis (only 4 rings), and (in my case) there was some contact between the bindings and the roof of the car (probably compounded by the curvature of the roof and carrying 4 pairs of skis). The biggest problem was that it rained on the way back, and the rain followed its way down the side straps of the rack into the car itself (dripping on the armrests built into the doors). A great value, but less than perfect. I do not regret the purchase - it did the job, and I may find other uses for this 'temporary' rack (Home Depot?)

Great
This works very well. Packs up into a small bag, installs easily, is very secure and does the trick for ski trips. Didn’t want to install a full more permanent roof rack on the car and saw this so thought I would give it a try. Very happy with the purchase and when I was done easy to pull off and store in the trunk. Mounting loops are nicely spaced and imagine you can strap just about anything up there with a nice air cushioned ride. The straps do go through the doors and was concerned they would be bothersome but didn’t even notice them and doors still closed well. Had a small issue with a leak in one of the tubes and customer service was top notch, immediately replied and resolved the issue. Speaks well of the company and commitment to customer satisfactin with product. Great idea and if you don’t use a roof rack all the time a nice affordable option, that works really well.

OK for the $ ....
While this product did it's job holding my skis for the two hour trip, when we left the vehicle with the rack up overnight, the doors become slightly ajar allowing moisture from the air into the car. The price was far superior to other ski racks for the product. If you are going to leave your vehicle overnight, I recommend removing the ski racks and putting them back on in the morning. You will also need bungy cords or another type of tie down for whatever item you place on top. You need to make sure the tie down is secure, as if it is not you will hear the straps flapping on the top of the car for the entire ride.

Hauls kayak on Honda Fit
Got these to haul my kayak without having to spend massive amounts of money on a full roof rack. They have worked wonderfully and would recommend for anyone needing a roof rack on a budget. Once inflated, they are sturdy and for my Honda Fit perfectly. I have had one of the tubes slowly inflate but it still works for the duration of travel. If there is something wrong with the one tube, I would purchase this again to replace it.

Perfect for our truck rental on a ski trip
We got this for a truck rental (2016 GMC Yukon) with no rack on a ski trip. Definitely some wind noise, but the long part of the trip was great (12+ hours each way). Skis, snowboard and poles were sturdy. For daily up and down the mountain, it was slightly labor intensive to use, especially when it was cold and snowy. The straps were frozen and difficult to use, and it took a while to strap everything on. Otherwise, just what we needed so we didn't have to have wet, snowy equipment in the truck daily or for the long haul. No issues with the air, even going from sea level to 10,500 feet. We had to let a little out going up in elevation, but not until about 8,000 feet. I think it would be great for other uses as well.

The only reason I took 2 stars, is because ...
The only reason I took 2 stars, is because there is a design flaw, where the ring closest to the latch that secures it to the strap around the car rook, becomes unusable because it is under the latch. So, instead of having 5 rings available, you only have 4 that are on the side rather than centered. Otherwise, they work well. I am afraid of using them in the rain because some people have reported water going inside the car because the go between the door and the roof, but hopefully that will not happen to me.

It was easy to assemble
We took it with us to Switzerland and used it as a ski. It was easy to assemble, install and remove. The only problem is that the strap goes thought the door. The door frame was not flush with the interior ceiling of the car. The interior ceiling was maybe 2 inches or so higher then the strap. Consequently if I didn't recline my seat my head would bump the strap, annoying on a 3 hour ride.

So easy in install by yourself. Don't bother with the pump, blowing it up by mouth is easier/faster
This racking system is fantastic. I picked it up today and immediately went to pick up my kayak. Installing it for the first time was super easy, took me about 12 minutes. That includes getting it out of the package and figuring out how it works. I also wasted a minute or two trying to use the hand pump. Honestly, don't bother. The pump doesn't really work and blowing it by mouth takes about 5 or 6 good exhales into a one-way valve. Once I gor the kayak on, it sat flat on the car and didn't lean to either side. I have no experience with foam racks so this would be purely speculation but I feel like the hard foam would prevent the rounded bottom from sitting flat. The only downside, in my opinion, is that it does not have built in straps to tie whatever your hauling to the rack. You need separate straps. I would highly recomment this to anyone looking for a good, well made (at first glance/use) product.

The product itself was fine and served its purpose
The product itself was fine and served its purpose. However, i was sent a used one and the air pump that came with it did not work. The set up takes a little bit of time but once secure it works well enough for what it is.

Great for smaller loads
Perfect for anyone who can't afford a regular rack!
