it was recommended to me by the owner of the body shop, he said thats the best and durable pads out there, and i agree. I never used any other polishing pads, but this one does everything I expected. Used it with 3m 06094 machine polish

Good product to use for headlamp restoration

Polishing Pad
This is an excellent polishing pad. It brings out the gloss quickly (minutes). I used it on a new paint job. the 3 M trizat system works very well. Start with 1000 followed by 2000, 3000, 5000 then the polishing pad.

Awesome Polishing Pad - Saved Me a Trip to the Detailer
This pad worked great. It did an awesome job getting some pretty gnarly scratches out of my paint. I was positive that I would have to get my car buffed out by a professional detailer, but using a clay bar and this pad with this PORTER-CABLE 7424XP 6-Inch Variable-Speed Polisher, I was able to make my car really shine.
