Real wax candles! The little "flame" dances around and looks super realistic! The timer feature is awesome too. Was able to have several of them in different rooms come on at different times. Buy a 20 pack of Amazon basics batteries while your at it!Highly recommended!!

It was a little annoying to have to buy the batteries. But they look and work great.

These look like real candles when lit with the flickering flame. Set the remote one time for the candles to come on and for the timer, and they will come on and off at the same time every day. The outer shell is real wax. I am very happy with these candles.

These were awesome until my dog ate the remote😭😅 so I no longer have control over them but somehow they magically turn on at 10pm by themselves and turn off after 2 hours. I guess I programed them with the remote unknowingly before it was banished from existence.Does anyone know if I get another set, will the new remote work with the new candles?P.S. some of them came a little chipped, on one of them the bottom was falling off completely but it hasn't interfered with performance.

I purchased these to have some in every room in case of another power outage. They're great, except 2 of them arrived defective. The part where the batteries go was completely missing a piece to hold them in place... not broken off, just not even existant in the first place.

Sometimes I come down stairs and I turned them off the night before when I went to bed. Like watched them turn off, then when i come down stairs in the AM, all of them are on. Good product though. Very nice for what I use them for. They look super real. But kinda freaky lol

They create a beautiful ambiance and I'm tickled pink that I can turn them off and on with a remote. The candle setting is so convincing that I find myself being extra careful if I'm around them so as not to knock them over and 'burn' anything. lol. Still testing out the battery life and timer function. Already bought a second set.

Great product arrived in perfect order but took ages to get here . Pity about that Get the order out faster and no excuses.

Got these to enhance the Christmas house display. They work as expected, looking very realistic on shelves and in lanterns. Battery life seems good, not had to change any yet and they were used extensively over Christmas and are still on the go. Remote control works well. If I had to suggest an improvement, maybe more than one remote in a set of 12, so you can keep a remote in more rooms!

I have ordered a few lots of these now and have been very happy with all of them, for what I use them for. Great product and fantastic value for money.
