A: The Vitavit Premium® Pressure Cooker has a multifunctional valve with 4 settings for precise adjustment, from Gentle Cooking to Express Cooking and even a "No-pressure steam" setting. The Vitaquick® Pressure Cooker has no adjustable valve but still allows to control the pressure by monitoring the large and easy to read pressure indicator which has two cooking settings, one for delicate food and one for denser foods.

A: Vitavit Premium kPA/PSI amounts are as follows:
Cooking setting 1, approx. 110 °C (gentle cooking)

Whilst I was initially a bit wary of buying a pressure cooker as I'd heard stories about them exploding, I feel totally at ease using this product. The safety features are great. I've heard some people saying they don't like the steam release going sideways, but I haven't found that an issue and if anything it keeps the steam away from you. It cooks fast, really fast. I can make rice in 6 minutes, or cook a Dall curry using dried lentils in about 8 minutes. Also the pan is great for sautéing before you put on the lid, which means less washing up. As for washing up, it's a breeze to clean and takes seconds I was a little apprehensive about the price, but this really is a quality item. The only negative point is the cost of replacement gaskets. I always prefer to have a spare gasket around, but this will cost you around £25-£35. For us, as a busy family with young kids it's been a worthwhile purchase which we use frequently.
