Good choice, with a caveat or two
This is a nice collection of praise/worship songs. Our church is just starting to incorporate such music, and this is a good starting place, especially since our two guitarists are amateurs. Be aware, however, that, if you're going to "force" a number of songs into G major rather than, say, D or E-flat, some will be pitched quite high. In this collection, examples would include "Everyday," "All We Need," and a few others that become almost unusable for many soloists (especially male) let alone general congregational singing. Of course, you can always transpose, retune the guitar, etc., but that obviates the relative simplicity of this publication's potential appeal.

The product arrived on time and is as described.
The product arrived on time and is as described. More details: Very good for the beginner playing the very first guitar song ever, inspired by interest to play in front of a church congregation. However, all the songs in this book use the same 4 chords always no matter what; there is no sense of creativity in the extent of possible chords being used in each song, after a few weeks of daily practice on the guitar. To resolve that problem, there is an advanced book available from this same company to use for that purpose (with 7-chords, this element of creativity becomes possible). And, this book is a decent price to start getting the hang of famous songs that I love to hear in a simplified version. Overall, its purpose is extremely well-accomplished.

Awesome Music Book
I bought this book after getting the 3 Chord Worship Songs book. It has worked out great because I play with a group of young kids (14-11) who have very limited experience. This book takes the same chords from the 3 Chord book and adds an E Minor so it is a great way to build on skills from the 3 Chord book. Between the two books there are about 50 songs that can be learned and are fairly easy to get down.

Great book for beginners
I purchased this book to give me some familiar songs to play and expand my ability beyond the simple level one and two "learning to play" books I have been using. I've wanted to learn guitar for years and finally dove into it. While I still practice 18 different chords from time to time, having four to concentrate on really has improved my ability to play. It also provides individual notes, which I prefer to see while playing.

... needed for my youth praise team to learn some easy songs. Some of them they didn't recognize
This book was just what I needed for my youth praise team to learn some easy songs. Some of them they didn't recognize, but there are some classics in here, too. Helped us get up and running fairly quickly.

Good for a Beginning Guitarist
It's a good book for a beginning guitarist. The only negative is that it doesn't have enough of my favorite songs included. I found the three chord worship book more to my liking- not because I can't play Em (the easiest chord to play actually), but becausethe song offering in the 3-chord book suited me better. Still, I'm glad that I purchased both books.

Three Stars
A good book but there aren't many popular choruses that I knew, therefore I marked the star rating lower.
