Garage Door Remote Opener for Liftmaster 372LM (2005-Current) Purple Button

Q: Won't work for the community property gate....same model as the liftmaster for my personal garage, why? is there something different i need to do?

Reprogram. Make sure its the same frequency. (Example 315 megahertz)

Q: How do you program it if you dont have the old remote?

Take the light cover off your garage door opener. There is a button on the opener. Press the button until a small light next to that button turns on. Should take 4 to 5 seconds. You will then have 30 seconds to press and hold down a button on your garage door remote. When the light on your opener blinks, you are connected. Its actually very simple.

Q: Will this work with model number 1245R? I can not find one for that specific model

This is 315 meagertz. If you have a 315m opener already it will work. Look up the number on the back of your old remote. See it its 315meg.

Q: How do i reboot the remote?

Take your remote to the garage door motor in your garage. Press the red button on the garage door opener located behind the removable panel then press the button for that door, the lights should flash confirming that button on the remote is now associated tot he opener, repeat process for the second door and second button.
