Bamboozled (Cat in the Hat)

We got a bunch of four dollar Cat in the Hat books of various formats as party favors for my son's 4th birthday party. As you might expect, all of the books in this price range pale in comparison to more expensive titles like  Inside Your Outside: All About the Human Body (Cat in the Hat's Learning Library) . I'm reviewing the cheaper ones in relation to each other.This was the best of the three hard-bound Golden book formats available at the time (I think more are due in 2013). As you might expect, the hard-bound books are shorter than the paperback books in the same price range. This book is much more educational and has a better story than  The Thinga-ma-jigger is Coming Today! (Dr. Seuss/Cat in the Hat) (CITH Knows a Lot About That) . I also thought it was a bit better than  Born to Run! (Dr. Seuss/Cat in the Hat) (Little Golden Book)  in that the story was a bit more cohesive and their was a bit more educational value. It also felt longer but I didn't count the pages.

I love bamboo and am starting to work with it. I thought this would get my two year old interested, as he likes cat in the hat. It's average.

If "The Cat" is in the story, it is always a good read! We just love all of his books with fun facts!

We used these books as give aways at a library Dr Seuss Birthday celebration.The children were just thrilled to pick and take a book home.
