My biggest complaint is that the handle is not comfortable to hold, but it's not that big of a deal.

The handles are so convenient and being lightweight it helps tremendously when you have hand health issues. I like how narrow they are to fit in places. Excellent product I would recommend for others to use.

Thin and elegant

In our home we have a spare upstairs bathroom and I have claimed this small secluded space for myself as a little private area where I can spend some individual time. This is my personal space, where I can keep all my personal items and tools for skin-care and hair-care, without cluttering up our master bathroom. In addition, I can enjoy a relaxing warm soak in the bathtub, without any interruptions from someone walking in to use the bathroom facilities.Nevertheless, there is a small trade-off as this bathroom is tiny and so narrow that one can touch the opposite wall from the other side. Therefore the floor space is very limited, and there is no room to place a waste basket or anything along the wall without them in the way or getting kicked over.However, I have made this into a cozy room. I have furnished it with a plush floor mat in front of the sink and vanity area, thick and soft towels by the tub, and shelving to hold my skin-care, hair-care products along with an assortment of all my different cosmetics. Therefore, I want to keep this area attractive as it’s my little area to relax and escape any stress from the day.For years, I used a tiny wicker basket as my waste bin and forced it into a sliver of space between the vanity and toilet. However, this basket had a very small diameter, and its height was so short that it needed emptying constantly, often a few times a week. Furthermore, due to the constant squeezing in and tugging out, it was falling apart. I didn’t want to spend a lot on a waste bin and I just needed an inexpensive one that had a larger capacity to fit in the space and not scrape against either the toilet or the side of the vanity. I was looking for a durable plastic that didn’t scream ‘cheap plastic’ like the ‘Rubbermaid’ brand seems to do as I have decorated this bathroom to have an attractive appearance.The Umbra Skinny Trash Can has a contemporary form, and it does not have that ‘tacky’ appearance like so many other waste bins. I chose the dark bronze color because a light shade might discolor, and I wanted it to blend in with the wood vanity and the earth colors and brown shades that are my rugs and towels. The outside of this waste bin is a mat texture, and the interior has a smooth and glossy surface without any corners. Although I use a dark interior liner as protection from ‘gooey’ thrown out trash, this waste bin is fast and easy to clean both the exterior and interior with a sponge.The oval shaped opening has a contemporary and a gradual incline, the shallow section measures 11 ¼” from the floor and slightly slopes up to 13” on the other side. The measurement of the oval opening is 6 ½” at the widest area and has a 13 ½: length opening. I like the open section along the top to grasp as a handle, and this handle is smooth and doesn’t scratch my hand. However, I love the two gallon capacity, which would take weeks to fill up, in case I forget to take out the weekly trash.In conclusion, this is an inexpensive contemporary style waste bin that tucks away and fits into those tight spaces to resolve a limited floor space issue. My waste bin is out of view and tucked away between the vanity and the toilet and I am satisfied how well it blends in. The designed form is not ostentatious and I’m happy that it does not draw attention to my trash as a main focal feature.

Fits perfectly

One of the sides has a slight malformation. It also rocks from front to back. Rather than sending it back, I put it in a place where the malformed side doesn't show.

Not much to say about the plastic waste can that isn't obvious by glancing at the listing, but let's try.It's available in almost any color you could want to match virtually any decor. The only notable omission is a shade of green aside from the metal version (which is also a little odd when you consider the plastic version comes in two variations of purple). Some color of this product is bound to fit in almost anywhere you could want. Bronze looks amazing with stained wood furniture and flooring. Silver actually elevates a simple garage, warehouse or stone-floored room. Yellow and Surf Blue look great in the bathrooms I've placed them in.Since these cans are so slim, they can fit almost anywhere (between toilets and sinks in bathrooms or narrow cubicles in offices) to hold quite a bit of volume within limited space. Two gallon capacities mean you can fit a lot into these little cans.Each can has a handle to make it easier to help pull it out of any awkward space. This somehow increases the absurd usefulness of the product.The cans are ridiculously easy to clean. If they should ever become gross, simply wash with water and dish soap then dry. Use paper towels or gentle abrasive scrubs if needed. Obviously don't fill with liquid past the handle opening to avoid overflow.Though I haven't tested the limits of these cans' durability, each one feels very solidly built. Because they're compressed and sturdy, I tend to think they may be indestructible through the course of normal use. With a little cleaning to keep each can from becoming gross, you could literally keep it for as long as you want and never have to worry about replacing it until you get sick of looking at it.Note that the bottom of the can has a very small pocket of empty space between the basket area and the edge that touches the floor. If you're using the can in the bathroom, just remember to clean that area from time to time to help prevent aforementioned grossness.I don't use these cans with garbage bags because, so far, I simply haven't found it necessary. So no comment on their usefulness with bags. I normally use garbage bags with all my trash bins except for these since they're actually that convenient to maintain and keep clean as is.In short, this product's functionality is practically flawless and you can coordinate it easily with almost any room. I've bought several of these in different colors that will probably last for a very long time. I'll buy more in the event I'll ever need (or want) to do so for other rooms.

Love that this is oblong and not round so it fits behind bedroom door when I need to open it. I use grocery bags for insert trash bags and they fit perfect. It's bendable plastic so don't have to worry about it cracking. Stylish and durable.

Es la segunda vez que compro esta marca. Buscaba color rojo pero no encontré, sin embargo para el lugar donde lo iba a poner no me afectaba tanto y combinaba con la paleta de colores que estoy utilizando para el escritorio.

Al ser delgados caben perfectamente en espacios pequeños. Diseño bonito.
