I wound up not using the hand pads as they seemed bulky for me but the pads for the underarms worked wonderfully

Buy the neoprene style, instead.
Fluffy for a day and then flat. I weigh 118 lbs and have been non-weightbearing and on crutches for, oh dear, 10 weeks now.I used these for the first week I was using crutches and decided they were not right for me. They didn't stay fluffy and flattened quickly.I then bought the neoprene style (a different brand, here on Amazon). Those have been wonderful and are still like new, much more comfortable than this style.

Underarm comfort crutch padding
I love everything the color, comfort and style. I have not wash them yet so not sure how that is going to work.
