I was on the look out for more hobby supplies I could test and play around with and this stuff is amazing. If you need to add grit to a project or add texture to miniature war gaming bases, then this is for you. It takes paint very well, dries solid, and you get a ton for your money. It is easy to work with and very forgiving in terms of fixing mistakes or adjusting things. You can even build up small hills or roiling ground effects with it, highly recommended.

Great price, great product

The Vallejo sandy paste dries matte. It sticks well. It takes paint well. The grain is finer than what you're likely to get if you were to make your own texture paint which means the texture is actually in scale for miniatures. You also get a ton for your money. The value is hard to beat.

Product is thick & pasty you will go through brushes but once its dries looks great I typically use it as a base paint for my diorama to give it an earthy texture works for me easy to paint over as needed . What I didnt like with my last purchase was that Amazon sent me a used instead of a new bottle when I opened my package I noticed paint crust on the side of the bottle & the lid was partially open rendering it as a used product . I always like to keep an extra bottle of this stuff on hand & was not expecting a used product not cool so I sent back for a refund!!!!👉 🤬

This product is a real good solution to create a sand or beach affect without making a mess. Really easy to use and clean up is a simple wipe away with a paper towel.

This is a good tool for creating textured, naturalistic bases. By default it looks sandy, once it's dry it can take paint very well and be made to look like other surfaces such as soil or stone. Rocks, plants etc can be set in the material while it's wet and they stay in place reasonably well.

It is both sandy and pasty. If you're buying this you likely already know why you're getting it and what you're getting into.It's a great product.

I'm loving this stone texture,It's perfect for my need,I'm using it on MDF;It really does the deed.It goes on well, quite smoothly,And dries in fairly quick,So I recommend this product,As it will do the trick.
