The book is a compilation of unnecessarily highlighted bold letters and an arbitrary and random selection of quotes from various books of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj.The author has added interjections inbetween which are his own impressions, an effort to congeal the quotations into a half-baked theory, which often has nothing to do with Sri N.M.'s teachings.The liberal use of bold letters disrupts the flow of the original narrative of N.M.Please read the original I Am That if you can.

I have studied everyone and this guru is one of my absolute main men. He makes Advaita Vedanta sing. He teaches me more about life in a single paragraph, a singly AMAZING paragraph, of his speech, than most can with their whole lives. I AM THAT is his banner work, but I read everything I can get by him, transcribed from his oral teachings in every case. Extraordinary. Indescribable. You must read him if you are sincerely interested in the nature of the universe and your soul. But you will have to grow to get him. I've been studying him steadily for five to ten years, and I learn more every time I read him.

If it were possible, this book comes close to providing some insight into the “That” that is Nisargadatta Maharaj.A good and challenging read.
