Strong magnet
This was a perfect fit for my Westinghouse iGen 2500 generator. What was impressive was the strength of the magnet. It really stuck to anything that was iron/steel and had a tough "tug" to pull off. Should catch a lot of free floating steel/iron in the engine oil. Good buy.

Fits perfectly, no leaks around gasket. And most of all, traps magnetic engine wear.
The media could not be loaded. Keeps some of the material from staying in circulation with the oil. Had it in my generator from day one. Very pleased with this one. Note that the dipstick will retain heat far longer than a plastic dipstick. So if checking oil between fill ups, keep that in mind.

Works great
I bought this for my new generator, but it fits my 49 cc bicycle motor too. It already grabbed some metal out of the oil on the bike. The way they design the way you change oil in these type of motors I think it would be hard to get the larger metal shavings out without something like this. Excellent. For the record, this fits the A-iPower SUA2000iV 2000 Watt Portable Inverter Generator, too. It has a thicker gasket than what came with the generator. I installed it today on the genny and got a lot of fine particles of metal and that was after I already had changed the break in oil! Felt gritty and that can't be good.

Fits my Firman 3200w
Was looking for magnetic dipstick to fit my Costco exclusive-ish Firman 03242 3200/4000w class dual-fuel generator. Called Firman and Kohler (supplier of its 193cc engine) support and some small-engine shops asking which magnetic dipstick to use, nobody could say. Tried both available WEN oem pieces as they appear to be highest-quality, but too small/big - thread on mine is M18 with 3mm pitch, NOT 2.5 as some have indicated. As some of these gennys look to be very similar to one another, I thought the Predator 3500 had the closest sibling resemblance to this Firman. I took dipstick from mine to local harbor freight and tried on their display - it fit, so I bought this Atima. As some others have mentioned, the number on this package had ‘02’, not ‘03’ designation - but it did fit. Also, there seems to have been a revision, the one I received has three scores on the barrel (vs one) and appears a bit longer than the listing - still, it’s almost 2” shorter than stock.Original is marked with Xs to max fill mark, this has the 4 segments marked by the scoring. At max fill (about 0.5L) exactly one segment is indicated, equivalent of 2 Xs (hard to read, as others have mentioned - I have to lay it against a clean paper towel) so if segment is dry, you’ll need to bust out the original dipstick to see where you’re really at. FYI, down 1:segment/2 Xs after first 5h break-in.Too short to work? IDK, but still happy I got it. As others have mentioned, I found fine grey silt that was hard to remove from stick, so likely ferrous. More interesting (and hard to see at first) were very fine, thin, straight 2-3mm pieces (resembled cactus barbs) that also stuck to magnet, I reckon they’re from boring/milling - so it’s catching something (better than nothing?)I seldom write reviews, but looking for this dipstick (harder to find than my wife’s boyfriend) took so much legwork I thought it might help someone else. Good luck, happy camping or whatever..!

Fits Westinghouse iGen2200
Can't speak to actual usage yet, but it definitely fits the Westinghouse iGen2200 generator. Will hold on to the old dipstick though for measuring refills.
