Great for Hard of Hearing People, Noisey Environments!
I just needed a simple timer, where I could enter the time as digits. I hate those Up/Down arrow type timers, so I found this. When I got it, I hadn't paid attention that it also has a red LED light that flashes. It flashes when you press the Start button, and also flashes when your time has completed. Okay, so what? Well it turns out that a year or so later, my ears got all plugged up from sinus problems. And I was using head-phones to listen to the radio. I timed something, then had no idea at all with my other timer, when it was beeping. With THIS timer, I could SEE that my time was reached! Wow! Most excellent! Not only that, but there are 3 stages of notification. At first, there's a slow, 2-beep alert. If you ignore that, it becomes a 3-beep alert. And if you ignore that, it starts beeping continuously. It then turns off. Seems like each stage is about 30 or 60 seconds before the next stage. So it's trying to tell you your time arrived for quite a decent amount of time. Another nice feature is that when you've stopped the timer (at completion or interrupting countdown/up), the display clears after a number of minutes with no button-press, to conserve battery power. Then, the next time you push a button, it remembers your previous time. Otherwise, you have to press "Clear" to change to a new time. This is nice for timing multiple batches of food that requires the same time. The display stays on throughout any timing activity. I'm not totally positive on that, as I don't often time things for long periods. This timer goes only to 99:99 so 1-hour, 39-minutes. Not for multiple hour timing. This little guy is small enough to be portable, and includes a spring-loaded clip for standing on a counter. It's pretty loud, so can be heard over kitchen noises (or seen while wearing ear-buds). And the flashing LED light is way more convenient than I ever would have thought! Really a nice product, and absolutely worth the price.

Best 10-Key Timer Available!
10- Key LCD Digital Kitchen Timer (PS-367) If you’re looking for a relatively small 10-key timer, this is the one! It measures 3” x 2.55” x 1.25” overall with a 2” x 1” display. The counter itself (counts either up or count down) is easy to set and the display easy to read. Several features that I find helpful are: (1) the activity indicator scrolls in the appropriate direction...left to right or right to left depending on whether it’s counting up or counting down; (2) the built-in, combo belt clip/countertop stand is rather nifty; (3) the alarm is loud enough to hear clear across the room even with all sorts of kitchen noise and if you’re hard of hearing, it also has a flashing red light; and (4) the timer automatically goes to sleep, after a short time, when it’s not being used. You’re probably going to want more than one! We got ours from EvanZhang via Amazon and they were shipped almost immediately and received within three days of our order. Broke after 3 uses
I looked for a timer for several months that had all the features I wanted and this one seemed to fit the bill. However, it broke after the 3rd use. The sound no longer works and I replaced the batteries and it did not change anything. And the battery door pins broke off so the back doesn't stay on. Very cheaply made. I do not recommend.

Good timer. Works
Good timer. Works. A little bigger than I would like and the buzzer noise is really annoying. I would not have bought this one if i had heard it first.

Perfect Gadget - Right Size, Right rubber digits and just enough 'shrill' to let you know your time is up :)
Exactly what I wanted! Simple to use, rubberized no slip keys, fairly loud alarm, that even escalates to a comfortable loud. Also comes with 2 batteries. It has a built in stand, with a magnet that firmly sticks to the fridge. Construction is clean and sturdy I will probably purchase more for Xmas presents. Honestly, I spent quite a bit of time comparing the vast choice, and am extremely happy with what arrived. Just got it so can't talk about reliability, but not worried. uses to small penlight batteries and maximum time is 99 min 99 sec. The screen even blanks itself, after a while, i presume to save battery life ! Delivered precisely on time. 3"x 2 5/8" ht x 3/4 thick plus back clip

THe signal is too soft to hear. Can't figure out anything to do to make it louder.

Works Great !
I have a couple of these timers. I bought them specifically for the large screen and key pad. They're very sturdy and should last for many years. The alarm is quite loud and the red light flashes if you are in a noisy environment or have the attention span of a puppy as I do. I frequently clip one to my pants pocket and use it to remind me I've started something like turning on the hose to fill my pondless fountain. I've been known to get distracted and leave that hose running hours !

I was looking for a timer with a number keypad so I didn't have to do any of this twisting nonsense on egg timers. This is that. One thing to keep in mind is when this goes off it beeps. And if you don't turn it off then every 15 seconds or so it speeds up its beeping until its basically going crazy. Useful if you can't find it or don't initially hear it but incredibly annoying if you've popped to the loo or something.
