I have quite a bit of lead flashing around a flat roof. I have a leak on the vertical section is really the result of poor insulation - with insufficient overlap. The quotes I have for repair are over 2.5k So in the meantime I have used this tape and for a few months I haven't had any leakage. I probably will have to stump up eventually, but for now this is doing a good job.

I needed a temporary fix o my garage roof until I can get a roofer in. It worked well, using a wallpaper roller to really get good adhesion.

I thought I'd give this a try instead of the usual branded flashband because the foil should help it survive strong sun in summers. It seemed to stick down ok even though I didn’t heat it because its not bitumen like others, the foil teared a bit too easily but not terrible. Sadly it turned out not to be up to keeping the rain out or retaining adhesion and I had to do the whole job again with the added task of cleaning away the white remnant of whatever this stuff is made of.I'm sure it has some uses but they do not include keeping water out. Back to bostick for me.

After just over a year the top layer had peeled off leaving a pale coloured substance that was partly sticky and partly set hard. Would not recommend.

my money is totally wasted tape is useless doesnt stick for 1 sec its a total scam misleading listing dont buy this tape its fraud im highly disappointed amazon should take note
