Some Design Flaws
This potty/rocking chair is so adorable. I have received many compliments on it. My son loves to use this potty however, it is not the most comfortable of seats. The hard wood leaves quite the impression on his tush. Also, there is no way to stop the rocker from rocking. Not exactly the best design for little ones learning to pee. I plan on gluing the lid shut and removing the toilet paper roll holder so it will be used only as a rocker. A little disappointed but not a total loss.

Beyond adorable!
With my cousin's baby shower only a month away, I was thrilled for the opportunity to receive this item at a discount cost in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I absolutely loved the photos and hoped the actual product was equally as nice...and it was! The item requires some assembly, which I tend to worry about since it can be time consuming and confusing. The hardware was separated in a clear package. I quickly learned that with the exception of the four longer back screws, all of the screws are the same size! This saves a lot of hassle. Holes are pre-drilled making a manual screw driver possible if that's all you have. But I got out the electric screw driver, and boy did this make assembly a BREEZE! The instructions are clearly marked and drawn out making them easy to follow. From start to finish, assembly took me around 15-20 minutes. The construction is sturdy, solid wood and the painting is bright, vivid and beautiful. The wood pieces that make up the rocker can be easily removed if a stationary potty chair is desired. I love the wooden square that fits over the toilet seat during uses. As someone who's potty trained two children, I understand the importance of getting children interested in using their toilet and what better way than a fun, whimsical, and functional chair such as this?! I absolutely love the built in book holder, toilet paper holder, and arm rests. I cannot wait to give this to my cousin, as I'm sure she'll appreciate it as much as I do. I am not affiliated with the seller in any manner, and all reviews are based solely upon my honest assessment of this product. This potty chair is absolutely the best one I've ever seen -- highly recommended!

What A Neat Idea
My baby is still pretty young, but it won't be long before I'm teaching her how to use the potty. This potty just looked so neat. I've never seen one like this before. It has more than one way to be used. At first, like some other people probably think, I thought it was a rocking potty. I was thinking, how in the world could that make any sense? It's not. It can be used as a potty chair. When you are assembling it, do not add the rocking legs. Then, it will be a stable potty chair for your little one. It's not very difficult to put together, in my opinion. It didn't take very much time for me. The instructions were easy to understand. It is hand painted with non toxic paint. It has a toilet paper roll and book or toy holder on the other side! I love how cute that is. A really young baby might not use that at first, but later it can come in handy. The actual potty seat can be removed, emptied, and cleaned. There is also what I believe is a piece to prevent accidents for little boys when they are learning to use the potty. It is not mentioned in the manual, but I think that is what the little plastic piece is for. This is a very nice and high quality potty. However, I think that it might be a tiny bit high for some shorter babies. Also, the wooden seat is hard. It would nice to have some cushion there for their little bottoms to rest comfortably, especially when they are learning to use it.When your little one is no longer being potty trained, you can screw the bottom rocking legs on and there is a cover with a picture that goes on top of the potty area. Voila'- a rocking chair for your kid's room! Love the idea and a lot of kids like rocking chairs.Overall, the idea of a two in one chair is cool. This seat is very original and makes a wonderful gift. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my unbiased review.
