Traps dusts well - Made in USA
The pleated filters arrived squished/bent in some areas but still very usable. It was easy an install. Nearly anyone can do it. I’m a young woman with no experience. Just find the arrow on the box and face it (point it) toward the furnace. If you cannot find the arrow then look for the metal mesh/lattice and place it in the inside (back side). After 3 months I went to check on it to replace and wow! It was dark and dusty. It was better at trapping dust than the original fiberglass filter the furnace came with.?Whistling problems? It sometimes causes whistling sounds even after replacing it with a new/clean filter. Quite annoying. *UPDATE*: I decided to rotate the filter to make the pleats run vertically and the whistling stopped! If you encounter similar problem as me, I suggest rotating the pleats vertically or horizontally, whichever is compatible with your HVAC. If not, replace the filter with a new one to see if that helps. **A tip I found online says to replace the pleated filter every 3 months as a general rule. 2 months if you have pets or allergy-sensitive people.**Made in USA!————*UPDATE* It’s starting to whistle again after some days. I give up. I’m not sure what’s the problem. Maybe it’s pleated filters in general. I guess that’s why some suggest using fiberglass because it’s better air flow. Protection is not as great though.

Less Expensive, but the Savings Allows You to Change the Filters More Often. Enjoy!
Folks, I live in Castle Rock, Colorado. This summer we have 4 forest fires still burning. That coupled with the California fires and a lack of rain have left the air quality worse than I have ever experienced in my 70 years of life.My wife and I change our air condition/furnace filters every month. These last few months we have needed to change them more, as well as wash the soot from the sides of our air conditioner. While these are not the best filters on the market, they are less expensive than most and we change them more often. If you have bad air quality, I recommend these less expensive, but acceptable quality filters to keep the air in your home safe.I am happy with the performance of these filters and bet you will be too.Enjoy!

Fits great and filters wonderfully
These value brand filters are amazing. They do just as good a job as the 3M brand and it's easy to find less common shapes like 16x16" squares. We live in a home with two cats. One is a short haired tabby who sheds a ton and the other is a long haired cat who sheds but weirdly not as much. However, those long hairs get everywhere. Our home is largely dust free and the air is quite clear with these filters and when I go to change them I see all the dust and cat hair that's been caught and I can tell that nothing has gotten through. I highly recommend these even for homes with a lot of dust and animals. I think I change them out every 3 or 4 months. There's a space to write down the date of install and they fit very snugly in place. One pack should last you an entire year.

It works. Cleaner air at apartment.
We are apartment dwellers and as a "service", the management provides a free filter every month. The cheap, bendy ones. The filters are awful. Living in Florida, there's a lot of floating sneeze-causers. And we run the AC 10 hours a day. Our AC froze up a few times in the 2 years prior to buying these filters. Not once since. And the air is not "damp"...idk how to explain it...stuffy and wetish? When you run it all night? Anyway, it's not THAT anymore. I use essential oils directly on the filter to circulate the scent. Nice. The filter is Brown every month and I kinda like knowing they work well. Oh and the size 16x16 sucks trying to find at Home Depot or Lowes, never had an issue getting it from this company. Very happy.

Traps more dirt the store brands
PerformanceFilters trap a lot more dust then expected compared to big brand stores. partially what I think is the store brands tend to be "looser" these FilterBuy are a snug fit in my 16x16x1 and have to somewhat push then inword where the screws are. By the 2-3 month mark you need to definitely replace thempackagingcomes in a box thats just slightly larger then the filters themselves which i appreciatevaluethis are a bit pricey for a set of 4 but i think the performance justifies the costs in my opinion

All the filter you need
My HVAC setup uses three different sized filters. It’s hard to find the sizes in stock at the store, so I started buying these on Amazon. They are a great value and do a great job. I change the filters every 3 months and the ducts and vents are clean. Don’t pay for more filter than you need. The expensive ones just put a strain on your fan motor anyway. Buy these and you can afford to change your filters more often.

Good Purchase!
I am a single lady and know very little when it comes to maintaining mechanical things around the house. I purchased these online because it was the only place to find the correct size. These filters are very sturdy and last longer than others I have tried. Very good purchase!!

Works better than any other filter I've purchased
I usually buy MERV8 filters from the big box stores, but they were getting pretty pricey. This time I ordered from FilterBuy and what a difference. When I changed out the first pair of filters I couldn't believe the amount of STUFF these filters trapped. I used to think my house was fairly clean because my filters were never too dirty when I changed them out every three months. Now I know better. I can't compare them to any of the others you can buy online, but I can tell you these really work.
