Excellent product

I have a swagman and a woobie. The swagman is a great poncho liner and a not so great blanket. The woobie is a great blanket, and not so great poncho liner. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. Personally, I think I'll use my woobie more than the swagman. But it's a versatile thing that I'm glad I have in a 'get-home' bag.

Buy the next model up- the Swagman Roll, it is water repellant and has little toggles to attach to four out of 8 of the USGI poncho. the Bushcraft Basic is just that, basic. It is a quilted blanket with a hood in it. Mine was beautifully stitched and breathable while warm so am being a little unfair to complain about it missing the features of the full Swagman Roll, but to make the Bushcraft Basic usable outside of the summer months I will sew eight shoelaces to the tie down locations so it can attach to the USGI poncho and have a chance at keeping me warm in a light rain.(I had a bright idea that the drawstring toggles at the four corners might be able to go through the grommets on the USGI poncho but no joy they are too big to fit. This is why the full Swagman Roll has specialized attachment points to tie on to the USGI poncho at four corners as well as the draw string toggles it shares with the Basic version.)

So the design of this is very impressive, the warmth not so much. Great features that are very well thought out. The only problem is that this has no warmth to it whatsoever. Tried it out on a 60deg night on a cot in a tent and I was cold! I'm a warm sleeper also. For how heavy this is I would expect it to be warmer. Missed my return window.

I love this product. I use it as a pocho liner to stay warm or as a blanket/snuggie. It worked perfectly as a stadium blanket as well
