Informative
I enjoyed reading Ms. Williams account of soul progression. I've stepped away from spritual texts for several years so I found this book to be a refreshing and uplifting read. As a reminder of my own mortality, I was reassured that my soul will be welcomed home when the time is right.

Words Cant Express How AWESOME this book is!!!
I am a HUGE fan of Lisa Williams! I Loved her 2 TV shows series that she had...and was quite sadden when they were cancelled. I have read both of her books. (Her first book "My Life Among The Dead" it really helped me and gave you an inside look at what she had gone through from birth to present. A great read and I could barely put it down. Now I thought her 1st book was great...but her 2nd "Survival of the Soul" is by far the BEST book I've ever read! I enjoyed this book so much that I bought a copy for my Aunt, My Older Sister, & for my cousin -- her mother just crossed over recently. Now my Aunt & cousin are much more religious than I am & I struggled whether to send them their own copy...but listening to my 'gut' feeling I went for it! My Aunt read the book in a matter of 2-3 days...and yes she didnt agree w/ 'Lisa's view on this..or that' but all in all she said it was a great book! Her copy arrived about a week before the fifth anniversary of her husbands lost battle from Cancer. It really helped her through that time when she was at her worst of feelings. She thanked me over & over! My sister is reading her copy and finds it very interesting & helpful! My cousin hasnt started it yet as about 2 weeks after her mother died, our other Aunt passed from pancreatic Cancer. Now I am going to buy another copy of the book and send it to her son! I wished I had this book around to help me understand some "Why's?" & "What Ifs..?" when I went through A LOT of my family & friends crossed over! It would have helped me beyond words! I dont want to spoil or leak out any information from the book...if you are hesitant you should be able to still read a few pages on Amazon.com But even if that isnt available anymore...buy the book! For a little over $15 ... it will be the BEST money you have ever spent if you have had a loved one Cross Over!

Short but interesting...
I am really impressed with Lisa Williams. She is a special soul with much to teach the world. The book is well written and very interesting but I wish there were more content and thus the 4-star rating. I have have OBE's and NDE's; I have seen ghosts as a kid, and I have had many lucid dreams. I have come to many of the same conclusions about what life and the afterlife is about. The main thing I either wasn't aware of or am not convinced is accurate is the degree to which the process is structured when we go into the light and reach the 'other side'. At times I felt like I was reading about an entire bureaucracy that strictly regulates everything. Of course it appears that we will want to undergo most if not all of these stages for the cleansing and healing of our soul.I will say that I think Lisa may be doing a disservice to some by writing about 'soul mates'. I believe there are kindred spirits, certainly. There are those we have loved before. But there is not that one and only perfect match. I knew a woman who passed up on happiness she could have had because she was looking for that one perfect soulmate who would blow her mind. She's 73 and still single.I was very interested in what happens to those who don't go into the light. It would have been fascinating if Lisa could have depicted what actually happened to Hitler or Ted Bundy upon death. I'm sure their life review would be incredibly painful. Yet there is no eternal damnation for any soul. We may have created a tough road ahead for ourselves but there is always the chance of salvation.I absolutely recommend this book... I just wish it were at least twice the length.

The Soul Eternal, according to Lisa
Lisa Williams' "Survival of the Soul" joins an interesting mix of Afterlife books currently on the bestseller lists. People appear to be hungry for this information. Williams' book is an extention of the type of material gleaned from past-life regressions in the work of Michael Newton. She presents a picture of a very orderly Afterlife where, indeed, life goes on (and on and on). This paradigm presents the soul experience as a long learning process, definitely in-line more with Eastern thinking than standard Christianity concepts of heaven and hell. Yet, there are elements of that philosophy if you're looking for them. Some things resonated with me and the paradigms I've developed through the years (Life Contracts and Soul Families). It all paints a positive picture that our lives serve a purpose and we all impact each other. Lisa does a good job of writing plainly without throwing in buzz words that would link her material with any religions. Ultimately, the book left me asking: If it is all so well-planned and we have so many guides and helpers getting us through incarnation after incarnation, why do people seem to be so confused and messed up? Is humanity actually improving along the way? Looking at the daily headlines, our collective soul growth appears to be doubt. Yet, hope springs eternal. It would be lovely if people would just get in touch with their higher guides and start making better decisions for themselves and for the planet. Then maybe we could all enjoy Lisa Williams' vision of a beautiful Afterlife.Dana TaylorSupernalFriends.comauthor "Ever-Flowing Streams: Christ, Reiki, Reincarnation & Me"

A real eye-opener of a book
I loved this book because it felt real. The author tells her story in such an honest manner to the point that I was openly shocked at some points, like when her spirit guide reappeared when she was sitting on the loo! For me to tell it like that gives the book the aura of authenticity. That, and the pure open acceptance of same sex relationships, suicide and all kinds of material that I have never read before in books like this. I will now look at my life differently because of this remarkable book.

Interesting
This book was very interesting as the subject matter is what happens when you die in the spirit world. The more I read it though I became sceptical about it and not actually sure I fancy going to different holding rooms to put right any past demeanours before choosing my new parents so I can be re born again in order to continue my progression. Depends on your own personal beliefs I think.Having said that I really enjoy watching Lisa Williams on TV and would really love to have a reading by her.

It's okay...
I purchased this right after reading 'Life Among The Dead' by the same author but missed the down to earth and fun to read tone that I enjoyed in her previous work. If you haven't read any other books on the subject you might find some new information but for me it was more of the same that I read from the other mediums. The same information can be shared by different authors of course but then I would expect a unique voice and approach which I missed in this one. It's a little long winded for me and I ended up putting it down quite a few times. Her previous book was hard to put down which I prefer more when I'm reading.

A very enlightening and Interesting Book
Having watched a read a lot about Lisa Williams, I was really looking forward to reading this book. It certainly did not disappoint and admit it was the first book I've finished cover to cover for a while.I have reached the time in my life where I am just delving into this subject matter. Lisa explains everything clearly and keeps you interested in what she is saying. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for answers or a way forward on this.

Amazing Stuff
There is so much in this book, I've learnt a lot about the afterlife that I didn't know and it ties up with so many experiences I've heard about from those who experienced NDE (Near Death Experience). I've been a fan of Lisa Williams for a while and although I have other Psychic Mediums I like, I have always felt that she stood out from the rest and I feel that I trust her. Read this and make your own judgements.
